This was a by election so obviously the number of votes cast is going to be way down compared to the general elections, so lets not rush in to premature statements of declining vote bank. Pick up record of any by election in any country in the world and the turnout will be much lower. That said, this is still a comprehensive win for MQM, and the lies that was spread about it that it can only win through fear and rigging have been shattered. Only those will deny this fact who are blind to reality and want to live in their paradise of delusion.

Congratulations to MQM and residents of NA-246. We heard your voice, its time people accept that MQM is the choice of the vast majority of people in this City. Deal with it.

From our previous conversation you obviously know that I don't support Imran Khan and his political party, however PTI put a valiant effort in sending a clear message to MQM and things can change for the better in the future. Undoubtedly the leadership of MQM had many sleepless nights.

Slow Polling Cause that and there are lot of Proofs of slow Polling occurreed due to Various Factors and MQM suffered some of it but PTI also Suffered as they had 31000 Votes in General Election but now close to 15000.

JI refuses to accept MQM’s mandate


KARACHI - Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chief Naeemur Rehman on Thursday refused to accept the mandate of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in the by-election of NA-246 constituency.


Addressing a press conference here, Rehman said that the electoral system was deeply flawed in the country. “Free and fair elections were not held in NA-246,” he said, praising his supporters and workers.


He said the Election Commission failed to conduct free and fair elections in the constituency. The JI leader said his party was competing against polling staff and fake lists.


According to unofficial results reached so far, MQM has a substantial majority against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and JI.

Bhie first of all u dnt need to get offensive . The name of the party was mahajir quoami movement. It was changed later so mqm can gain in Pakistan but I didn't work out .
