Unveiling HIT's Dragoon APC

It seems that they have.

Whether these are HIT manufactured or not is not clear and neither is the number. Still, these have been spotted in action.

Unfortunately we are using this as a very basic patrol jeep. These vehicles can be fitted with decent remote controlled gun and grenade fire station. Can also add other such goodies but have yet to see any such image. Based on our track record, we may NEVER see any such developments.
I think we'll see it happen, but in very exceptional cases. For example, the Dragoon would make for a fine base defence AFV for PAF, and of all the service arms around, I'd expect the PAF to look into automated guns or even EW equipment. Beyond that, it'll be tough knowing our Army. Personally I think the Dragoon should be the mainstay of our various paramilitary forces (e.g. FC-KP/BT, Rangers, etc) and outfitted in various formats (with requisite CAS assets such as lightweight aircraft, small ISR aircraft, etc).

...but unfortunately our dharti soni operates like Windows 95 or an old MacBook, cramming new ideas (programs) will result in a freeze.

Brochure says fuel tank capacity of 40 litres?! Must be a mistake. 40 gallons seems right.

It doesn't have V hull for mine and IED blast protection. Will it withstand ambushes in FATA with IED and mines? I have my doubts. Much better than pick up tin cans though.
Definitely not mine proof - you can see it right away. I always have said Pak needs Armscor solutions which are ideal for it e.g RG-32/Mambas. Those vehicles are tried, tested and you can see them in operations right across all theaters including marines who are using 3000+ of those.

Nice addition for National forces, however still sad to see the deployment in cities as these are heavy machines ideal for army the fact these have to be used in cities now is concern

That's not Dragoon but M1117 .. Over 400+ of these were bought from US.

I don't know when are these Dragoon APC's are going to replace those death trap Toyota pick ups. There was a road slide blast in Balochistan province which resulted in death of our 2 brave soldiers.

If they make it high priority, probably soon.

To replace the death trap Toyota pick up best machines are

Nurol Ejder 4 x 4

Kirpi MRAP

Saudi made MRAP
@tarrar @Ulla
Dragoon should be fitted with HJ-12 or Anti Tank Missiles bought from Turkey

Yes, but when will the replacing of Toyota pickup start with Dragoon or other MRAP? Upgrading will keep happening but first those death trap pick up needs to go & safety of the troops needs to be guaranteed.
