What type of petrol vehicles Indian army use?
I mean we use Toyota Trucks, what they use?
And these things want money and resource which we don't have ......No its not a anti Tank vehicle, we have it in very low numbers, can you image that ? So first we have to deploy it only as a MRAP and nothing else, what all armored vehicles in our inventory need is armored machine gun turret with the option to fit it with a grenade launcher !
More pics from the visit?Army Chief General Raheel Sharif visits Heavy Industries Taxila on 14 January 2016 . Army Chief was briefed about products of Heavy Industries manufactured for defence and commercial purposes.View attachment 287052 View attachment 287053
This vehicle is great for base/perimeter defence, paramilitary use and even amphibious operations, but I wouldn't use this as an MRAP. It isn't an MRAP. If the PA needs an MRAP, then it'd be better off buying an affordable design.Army Chief General Raheel Sharif visits Heavy Industries Taxila on 14 January 2016 . Well How about buying Kirpi ?This vehicle is great for base/perimeter defence, paramilitary use and even amphibious operations, but I wouldn't use this as an MRAP. It isn't an MRAP. If the PA needs an MRAP, then it'd be better off buying an affordable design.
As long as it is below $500,000 a unit it should be OK, alternatively, PA could consider the South African Marauder.Well How about buying Kirpi ?
