Didn't he say he would if he failed to secure his seat? Let's see if he is the "trustworthy bloke" he has been built up to be or yet another slimy politician.

I am expecting a U-turn....
When the question of resignation was asked to him early in the morning he replied by saying 'did you call me a liar'

He seems serious about his business so I reckon expect the announcement of resignations from Nigel Farage and Ed Milliband soon

.
Nobody wanted the SNP in government.
Correction, no English wanted that- the SNP have done outstandingly well in Scotland.

Interesting times ahead, the SNP and Conservatives are right on opposite ends of the political spectrum and both are in powerful (domestic) positions, this could be the mother of all fights as the SNP are certain to push for a more federal approach and dissolution. This has set the SNP perfectly for another stab at a referendum within the next 4-6 years IMHO, all they have to do is shore up their vote base and prove to those 50% or so of Scots who voted "no" that Scotland under the SNP (and by extension independent) would be better off.

The Conservatives certainly played the "SNP card" very well against Labour.

Personally I couldn't give two hoots if Nigel Farage resigned or not, he is an irrelevance on the political scene to a large degree.

I will be rather disappointed to see Ed Miliband go, on a personal level he seemed like a genuinely decent guy- David Cameron seems like the opposite.

For such a supposedly high class and well educated man he does behave like a yob on many occasions.

Ed is a competent guy but the people gave its verdict in favour of Cameron so I guess the opinion of majority be respected.

What would be the future of Ed? After all he just 45.

And then when they're out of the security council, India would become part of 'New' P 5 :D. Long term thinking Vote UKIP to make India a member of security council :enjoy:
As long as China is part of the UNSC India never will be.

He might still be active politician as he is not retiring but only vacating the seat for the successor

We'll strike a deal somehow. They're not as against it, they're stalling because they think they'll get some advantages in border negotiations.

Not British so couldnt vote but if I could I still dont know who I would for lol. Labour have some sympathy but they seem like an inefficient party that would rather loan more money than sort things out. Tories admittingly have done well as far as the economy is concerned. I have a soft spot for greens so I might have voted for them or if I lived in Scotland the SNP.

The economic recovery was built on another irresponsible property bubble which is due to burst in another few years.
