I do agree with you on the American involvement in UNHRC. Because it was them that brought the damn resolution against us. Therefore their patronage towards us right now will water down the impact of the resolution quiet a bit.

However there's a reason for sudden policy change of the US administration towards SL. It's the most important factor in this equation. That is that US believe they can proceed with their agenda in Sri Lanka unchecked. That won't be good for SL.
