I was just browsing through headlines about this and haven't read any articles in details yet.
Did they say which areas were hit and what was destroyed?

On a side note, Russia wouldn't hesitate even for a second before retaliating. They did so in Ukraine and before that they did in Georgia.

I'm curious to know if any Russian redlines were crossed or this was just an exercise?

there is no reason of owning them if you are unable to use them to produce weapons in large numbers enough to protect you due to lack of money .it is better to sell them to a country having money to run them so that they are beneficial against your joint enemy

Our overly dependency on China is what i am talking about, not anything against China but the fact that everytime something happens we look at you guys. Every country has its own self interests which are foremost and above everything else. Pakistan lost a whole part while relying overly on the US.

If Russia doesn't strike back, then sadly it's the end of Russian geopolitics. It might as well ground it's airforce and sink it's navy. Target Cyprus for starters.

FYI, The US and Russia have designated channels/hotline to interact with each other to avoid confrontation.
All this target hitting might be discussed to some extent before bombing run. After so called Chemical attack there was pressure on western power to do more. Russia not reacting to this in fact, calm matters here itself with no more escalation from either side.

Just does not matter what was going on behind the scenes since they are bombarded on regular scale and has turned the country into a shit hole. Yes Assad is trying to take the entire country back but why was there a need in the first place had Syria been strong? Like Saddam, Assad two was sleeping in slumber. our leaders are living in UK and they stayed in 1800s which they think UK is God ... even if we have power to wipe out the west in blink of an eye , our leaders won't put their beloved children life in the west at risk ... in other hand , North Korea Authorities don't send their children to the west for "Education" ....
