How does Al-Khlaid compare to these tanks?
Your comment is only coming out of hatred for one country and kindly refrain from the part in bold.The Korean K2 is not comparable with other MBTs, as most of its important components have to be imported just like Arjun.
The video is not playing for me at the moment.
Regardless, you need to get that 'chip' off your shoulders. I don't know if you had some bad prior experience with some Chinese, or what. Perhaps some dude made you feel inferior in school or something, but that 'chip' on your shoulders is holding you back mate.
one example is arena APS(active protection system)
it can be fitted with other tanks/armored vehicle as upgrade suit
some countries are considering to equip their tanks with protection suit.
Al-Khlaid == T90
Al-Khlaid2 == T99

In which scene does my comment slightly give a impression that it is a personal insult? If lets suppose Inda had a successful result with Arjun project which infact is based on Leo-II tank like in the case of Al-khalid which is also based on another tank then i would refrain myself from commenting that Indian tank is not a better tank because it is based on another tank when my country itself is doing the same.Please don't lose you temper. When you have different opinoin, just spreak out with your arguements. Attack me personally is not a good way to go on with this discussion.

I didn't say the the korean tank is bad tank because it is based on another tank.
My point here is that many important components of this tank have to be imported or produced under license.
so what if some parts are imported. does it still change the fact that K2 is possibly the best tank in asia?
K2 will never be the best in Asia. As already clearly pointed out, its stupidly high price will kill all performance potential.
We are talking about tanks, for which a reasonably sized military power is suppose to have thousands, you simply can't afford to put 4-5 million USD extra on each of them. The second factor to consider is the maintenance cost - you should expect damn high costs for making your K2 happy and functional.
In short, Koreans pushed K2 off the limit.
The cost is being overly estimated and wikipedia is certainly not a accurate website.
The tanks cost W8.3 billion each.
