The latest batch of the Type 052D.

This is the hull #26 of the Type 052D class, it is even very different from the previous Type 052DL being deployed between 2020-2022.

Total of 29 x Type 052D/L have been launched over 13 year period between DL and JNCX

this averages 2.6 units per year over a 11 year period

in contrast the two American shipyards Ingalls and Bath Iron Works between them have launched 79 x Arleigh Burke DDG since Dec 1989

this averages 2.4 units per year over a 33 year period

this is both in peacetime

this certainly shows that Chinese Naval Industrial strength certainly matches if not exceed their US counterparts

because both JNCX and DL have also launched 8 x Type 055 CG

and HD and HZ have lunched 44 x Type 054A/B/P FFG

Chinese shipyards certainly have shown they can certainly keep pace with American shipyards which were considered to be the gold standard
