Turkish National and Strategic Development Projects: News and Updates

China's only oversea high-speed train project is the Ankara-Istanbul line ( 533 km )
China was financed Ankara-Istanbul high-speed train project with a loan of $ 750 million
and project was completed in 2014

That's a high speed rail project, not a trade route.

also Turkey will build 2.000 km Edirne-Kars High-Speed Railway line project with China

That also, if/when finished, sounds like a national project in isolation from the rest of the region. And I do not think currently there is any freight train that leaves China, passes through Turkey and arrives somewhere.

As I said, China did indeed consider that option. But, that was at the height of the Syrian civil war, Turkey's strong support for Syrian separatists, instability and terrorism in the country. Besides, Turkey's president was not friendly at all. In fact, at one point, China arrested some of Turkey's embassy officials in Shanghai (2014, I guess) for giving out fake passports.

At that time, Central Asia and Eastern Europe appeared like safe havens (and they were/are, indeed, mostly). All of the freight links have been established during that time. Now, you can load your goods in China's Yiwu and offload it in London.

Turkey can play a key role in the Modern Silk Road with its recently attracting mega investments like

-- Marmaray ( completed )
-- Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge ( completed )
-- Eurasia Tunnel ( completed )
-- Çanakkale 1915 Bridge - 2022
-- New Airport in Istanbul - 2018
-- The Edirne-Kars High-Speed Railway line ( 2.000 km )
-- Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway Project ( 838 km ) - completed

which is carried out together with the Chinese, is one of the important steps taken within the scope of the project

I am doing extensive research on the Belt and Road. I am meeting scholars and experts in Mainland China regularly. So, I have a good idea where Mainland China wants the BRI to evolve.

The New Silk Road has been more or less laid down in terms of infrastructure. Now China pays attention to system's and policy integration (such as rail standards, customs clearance issues etc) to speed up the process and increase efficiency.

In the future, Turkey can take minor part in the transit of the goods. But, as I said, there is already plenty of linkages established between China and Western Europe. None of those lines pass through Turkey. 10.000+ trips over the past 4 years.

That's the exisisting reality.

Ehh....
Friends help each other out during currency crisis?
I guess Turkey always ask an enemy for help. The courage is admirable.
All jokes aside. Why are you so hostile all of a sudden? The guy wasn’t being offensive.

Every state has to do trade.

Most of the above probably have China as their largest trade partner. Almost all them are in the AIIB/BRI and some in the SCO.

A great portion of the BRI links go through Central Asia (with an exception of Tajikistan, due to instability).

I am not saying Turkey has no place, or insignificant potentially. I am just saying that a historic opportunity has been missed. Also remember, what Turkey can offer by itself means little as the BRI is a "connectivity" project. Turkey could be a link to the Middle East (I think Europe option has been missed already).

But, for this, ME should be stable and secure. So far, there is zero land links with the Middle East. For ME to be safe and secure, the Syrian Crisis, first and foremost, needs to be resolved.

For this, Turkey should stop its governmental brotherhood non-Syrian terror groups. As we have seen in the latest rounds of talks in trilateral summit among IR-RU-TR, Turkey still cannot forsake its long-supported factions in Syria.

If I can see this, I am sure strategists in Beijing can, also.

Turkey create its own opportunity , Turkey becomes regional energy hub and global aviation hub

Turkey could be a link to both the Middle East and Europe ( Turkey has great geopolitical location advantage and with recently attracting mega investments )

now Turkey is safe , because of Turkey won asymmetric war against the US-Israel and their terrorist groups Pkk and FETO since 2013

only problem is Syrian crisis
and Turkish Army in Syria and Iraq to block American-Israeli backed terror coridor
Turkey never will allow the US to create terror coridor in N.Syria or Turkey should forget any kind of influence in
the Middle East

The US is trying to block China's OBOR project everywhere ,
Polland and Estonia are new game area of the US (NATO )
good luck China will need it

The company has some advanced and combat proven products in the field, specificaly majored in the unmanned platforms, and declared the future progress map in that area as the link* mentions, also has already shared the first pictures and parts of the aformentioned project.

However, Comparing it with the global UAV developments to back up and spread your doubt does make your attempt doubtful in the end. China is rival of Turkey in some fields, but not the leading one in this field against The Turk Defence Industry as your doubtful attempt signals.

So to cut things short, time will tell, plus you don't have to be so senstive,my doubt is pretty legit,is it not?
