Turkish Missile Programs

Mam-L: 22kg and 8+ km range
Bozok: 16kg and 9 km range

In case Bozok is lighter than Mam-L and have small wings. Do you think Bozok should go to farther distances by flying?
why are we challenging same technology with 3 different programs like mam-x and bozok.
We need guided mortar and 155 urgently.

SAGE already developed guided mortar rounds. C4Defence is telling us that MKEK is working over 155mm guided round. Short range laser guided, Medium range INS guided, long range GNSS/INS guided.

Sage didn't developed guided mortar rounds, developed one software that can calculate falling trajectory and hitting position. Ammunition's itself cannot rotate or move mid-air.

An „Excalibur“ equivalent?

That's what I got.

I am not sure about the details around the specs of the shells. For now the only thing I got is that I wrote. Maybe @Combat-Master and @cabatli_53 can answer your question.

Özdisan Elektronik is looking to end external dependency on Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) in the defense industry with a $25-million investment in a facility in Istanbul in cooperation with Italian firms.

Mustafa Yurttaş, the founding partner and general manager of Özdisan, which sells products it buys from abroad to companies operating in the defense industry as well as providing them with technical consultancy, said PCBs are produced with low technology in Turkey.

Yurttaş explained that almost all of the high-tech PCBs that the defense industry needs are imported and they are working to change this.

"These parts are badly needed, particularly in the military electronics industry. This technology is used in missiles or rockets. With this investment, we will be protected from possible embargoes in the future," he said. Indicating that the investment will be actualized in Dudullu, Yurttaş stated that there is no price of producing something strategic. "If you are able to produce such a product, you do not confine it to Turkey, but market it abroad," he said.

It is not guided, as the poster refers it's "unguided". It's written "low profile guided" since it has a softwere to show user calculated trajectory that where the ammutinion will hit in a somehow nice precision. It doesn't have any exceptional direction change capability in mid-air.

what is missing in the picture is the Turkish JDAM and Turkish JSOW! who knows may be it happens in the very near future??!

After KGK I am just hoping that we may have a new potential project for a JSOW equivalent system! it seems to me the most logical next step! the Missing piece between SOM and KGK.
