That's the reason why we keep looking for traitors and conspiracies, it's all been staged with insider cooperation. Anyways.

Mate, there will be always foreign intervention in these subjects...but ultimately it's the nation's leader's duty to steer the country in the right direction. I don't believe that some of the past Turkish leaders were traitors but i would say, they were incompetent leaders whom lacked vision.

That said we are still in better shape then the other countries in the region though we could have been in much much better shape if good policies were implemented back at the time.

Bro, I don't have any suspect technological infrastructure of Aselsan in terms of development of such critical high-end technologies and There is no question How great Turkey will profits When It is exported abroad. You know It has passed 2 years after ULAK agreement signed to develop domestic 4G but It is being spoken today that Waiting Aselsan 4G is impossible. That's the reason Aselsan development schedule can not reach the government's tender schedule at present.

Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’ın mobil iletişimde 4G altyapısına geçmeden doğrudan 5G’ye geçilmesi çağrısı, gözleri ilk yerli 4G baz istasyonu prototipini geliştiren ASELSANNETAŞ- Argela Konsorsiyumu’na çevirdi. Konsorsiyumun ürettiği 4G baz istasyonu bu yaz cep telefonu operatörleri tarafından test edilecekti. Alınacak geri dönüşe göre de Kasım 2015’te seri üretim planlanıyordu.

Savunma Sanayii Müsteşarlığı’nın öncülüğünde yapılan projede yetkililerden alınan bilgiye göre bir yandan da 5G için Ar-Ge çalışması yürütülüyor. Konsorsiyum, bu yönde aldığı talimat uyarınca çalışmalara 4G baz istasyonu prototipini geliştirirken başladı.

Ar-Ge’nin başlangıç kabul edilebilecek bir aşamada olduğu ifade edilliyor. Ancak nihai hedef olarak teknolojinin tamamen yerli imkânlarla kullanıma sunulması koyuldu.

ASELSAN-NETAŞ ve Türk Telekom’un şirketi Argela Konsorsiyumu bir süre önce Ulak Projesi altında yerli baz istasyonu geliştirmişti. Söz konusu projede yer alan taraflar 4G ihalesi daha önce belirlenen takvimden 1 yıl önceye çekildiği için tepki göstermiş ve eleştirilerini dile getirmişti. Son gelişmeler de gösteriyor ki Türkiye 5G’ye hazır olana kadar yerli istasyon için pazar fırsatı da artmış olacak.

Beyanname yerli baz istasyonu üretimine geçileceği vaadini, “4G elektronik haberleşme ekipmanlarının yurtiçinde üretimine teşvik vereceğiz” cümlesiyle verdi.

Savunma Sanayii Müsteşar Yardımcısı Orhan Öğe’nin geçtiğimiz günlerde BTK’nın “yabancı vendorların kucağına oturduğuna” ve bu nedenle 4G ihalesinin öne çekildiğine ilişkin sözleri ile ilk tartışma başlamış, ardından eski Ulaştırma Bakanı Binali Yıldırım da Öğe’yi destekler nitelikte açıklama yapmıştı. Öğe, dünya 2000 yılında 3G’ye geçerken Türkiye’nin 2009’da bu hizmeti vermeye başladığını anımsatarak, “Biz geç kaldığımız için 3G’yi en üst seviyede verdik. 3.5G düzeyinde verdik. 2010’da ise dünya yeni teknolojiye geçerek 3.9’dan başladı. Şu anda dünyada 3.5 ile 3.9 teknolojisi arasında fazla bir fark yok. Boş yere 4G’ye geçip dünyanın gerisinde kalacaktık” diye konuştu.

TÜRKIYE’DE MOBİL TEKNOLOJİ

1G - 1985: Araç telefonları aslında 1G teknolojisi ile çalışıyordu. Sistemin fişi 1 Ocak 2008’de çekildiğinde 17 bin abonesi vardı.

2G - 1994: İlk dijital ses ve mesaj olarak başladı. 200 yılına gelindiğinde operatör sayısı üçe çıktı. Daha sonra 2.5G ile veri eklendi.

3G - 2009: İhaleye 3 operatör 970 milyon Euro teklif verdi. 2009’da kullanılmaya başlandı. 3.5G versiyonu kullanılıyor.

4G - ?: İhalenin 26 Mayıs’ta yapılacağı açıklandı. Teklif gelmesi halinde dördüncü bir operatöre de yer açılacaktı.

"Tercihimiz 5G'yi yerli teknolojiyle geliştirmek"

Bilim, Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanı Işık, 5G'yi yerli teknoloji ile geliştirmeyi hedeflediklerini, bu konuda dünya ile Türkiye arasında çok mesafe bulunmadığını belirtti.

Bilim, Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanı Fikri Işık, TBMM'nin açılışının 95. yıl dönümü resepsiyonunda gazetecilerin sorularını yanıtladı.

5G teknolojisinin büyük oranda altyapı yatırımı olduğunu, Türkiye'de altyapı konusunda büyük bir sorun yaşanmayacağını belirten Işık, "Önemli olan bunun teknolojisinin geliştirilmesi. Burada ciddi oranda yazılım var. Orada da artık Türkiye'nin bütün gücünü seferber etmesi lazım" dedi.

Fikri Işık, 4G'den önce 5G teknolojisine geçilmesine ilişkin eleştirilere yönelik, şunları kaydetti:

"Teknolojiye ideolojik bakmamak gerekiyor. 'Sayın Cumhurbaşkanı bir şey söyler, buna illa karşı çıkmamız lazım...' Onun için de artık bir sürü gerekçe... Bunların hiçbirine katılmak mümkün değil. Bizim buradaki temel tercihimiz, 5G'yi yerli teknolojiyle geliştirmek. Şu anda dünya ile aramızda çok mesafe yok bu konuda" diye konuştu.

Türkiye'nin bütün imkanlarını seferber etmesi halinde 5G teknolojisine dünyayla birlikte geçebileceğini vurgulayan Işık, 4G'ye ayrılacak bütçenin 5G'nin Ar-Ge'sine harcanması halinde çok ciddi bir birikime sahip olunabileceğini kaydetti.

Information Valley's foundation, which will direct Turkey’s future, is being laid today. It's being expected an annual turnover of $50 billion from the valley.

Information Valley, which is being founded to boost Turkey’s competitive power in the global innovation and information technologies areas, will be built across 3 million sqm land in Kocaeli, Gebze. Stating that Information Valley is one of the Turkey’s giant projects, he said Information Valley will be one of the world’s most global addresses with regard to innovation and R&D. The valley will contain global innovation and technology transfer centres and prototype testing workshops. About 5.000 R&D companies will be situated in the valley together with almost 10.000 R&D employees. Information Valley will also provide housing for the employees, as well as production, service, employment and living centre with several suppliers and logistic firms.

The project was designed to involve a 1.5 million sqm closed area and a 1.250.000 sqm office area. There will also be social facilities in the valley including tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, football pitches and a golf course. Moreover, schools will also be built in the field for employees’ children.

When the project is realized, Turkey will be one of the most important centres with regard to information technology in the region. “Turkey, which has strategic position that unites Europe, the Far East, the Middle East and Africa, intends to boost its share in technological exports with products ‘Made in Turkey’ with the slogan of ‘Made from Turkey’ to provide goods based on its technology,” the minister said. Additionally he said with this initiative, it will be possible to make Information Valley into a catalyst for, technological growth, innovation and capital accumulation and development, as offering economic and social development model.

''Etisalat signs ‘strategic deal’ with Ericsson to reach its 5G plan

Emirati telecoms service provider Etisalat signed this week a “strategic deal” with the Swedish company Ericsson to reach its planned 5G coverage by 2020.

“Today we have signed a strategic agreement with Ericson ... to develop 5G services,” Etisalat’s Chief Technology Officer Hatem Mohammad Bamatraf told Al Arabiya News during the signing ceremony held at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

Currently, advanced markets have 4G with communication technologies and services provider companies like Ericsson attempting to reach the 2020 vision of having a 5G full coverage.

“5G is a new technology. We look forward to proactively participate in it,” Bamatraf said.

“For this technology, there is a plan for it to be operational in 2020, which means five years from today. But‎ we believe in Etisalat that we should be one of the first people to employ 5G and be ready for the future,” he added.

Bamatraf said Etisalat was the first Arab company to sign a deal leading to 5G.‎

He also said the deal was also “part of a plan we put forth called ‘Network 2020’ where we put so many transformation enablers that we have to do and 5G is one part of it.”.''

Deniz Kuvvetleri Komutanlığının Bilgisayar Destekli Eğitim/Tatbikat ve Harp Oyunu ihtiyaçlarını karşılamayı ve güvenli bir simülasyon ortamında gizlilik seviyelerine uygun oyunlar oynanmasını amaçlayan “Deniz Harp Oyunu Simülasyon Altyapısı (DEHOS) – 2 Projesi” başlıklı yeni bir çağrı yayınlamıştır.

Deniz Kuvvetleri Komutanlığının stratejik ve operasyonel seviyeli bilgisayar destekli harp oyunu ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak üzere gerçekleştirilen DEHOS Projesinde bulunmayan fonksiyon ve yetenekleri kazanmış olacak ve aynı anda birden fazla senaryoyu koşturarak oyun oynatabilecektir.

Bu çağrı kapsamında projeler, TÜBİTAK Savunma ve Güvenlik Teknolojileri Araştırma Grubu (SAVTAG) tarafından 1007 Programı kapsamında değerlendirilecektir.

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu announced on Monday that Turkey will finish the prototype of its first domestically-produced car in August.

"All preparations have been finalized and we will sign the papers this week," he told.
