J10 is Israeli IAI LAVI .......... Israel gave American technologies to China including jet,electro-optic,air to air missile,radar technologies




and China should say thanks to Russia,Ukraine and France for gas turbine engine technology

Dont act like China does not copy. China built its industry by copying, reverse engineering and with their own ideas.

I do admire the Chinese for achieving a strong Military Industrial Complex but be realistic you did not do it alone.

I hope Turkey does same thing. Because I would rather copy than buying from the USA or Russia or the EU.

What are the steps involved in creating a 5th gen aircraft?

• Avionics?
• Radar?
• Weapon systems and controllers?
• Data links?
• Airframe?
• Engine?
• Stealth capabilities (ties into airframe and engine)?

If you take a project like this and disassemble it into parts you can see that Turkey is actually more then halfway there.

Turkey's military complex is top notch (meaning world class) in these areas ;

• Avionics
• Radar systems (including AESA)
• Weapon systems and controllers?
• Data links?

Also has some know how and manufacturing capabilities in these ;

• Airframe
• Engine (including critical components such as single crystal blades)

Turkey has no knowledge on this area ;

• Stealth capabilities (ties into airframe and engine)

If you look over the list above (there might be missing stuff of course) you can see that a 12 year timeframe is entirely possible with Turkey's current technological level and know how.
