Turkish Defence Industry Exports & Updates

The thing is this, we don't have our own medium caliber cannons so developing it is all fine untill you want to sell it. Then you have to deal with the country that produces and whether they want to export it to X country with spares etc...
They should develop modular turrets like the ones CMI Defence have to mitigate export problems... Or better yet, develop or copy a medium calibre cannon.

I think that it is probably related to this document, according to the text

under
66.A.20 Privileges
A Category C MAML shall permit the holder to issue certificates of release to service for aircraft following base maintenance on aircraft. The privileges apply to the aircraft in its entirety

under
66.A.30 Basic experience requirements
3. for Category C:
(i) 3 years of experience exercising Category B1.1, B1.3 or B2 privileges or as support staff according to EMAR 145.A.35, or a combination of both; or

(ii) 5 years of experience exercising Category B1.2 or B1.4 privileges or as support staff according to EMAR 145.A.35, or a combination of both

we need a family of unmanned gun turrets that store ammunition inside them so you can fit them on an APC like Tulpar without reducing the crew capacity.

105mm unmanned turret on Tulpar would be awesome. You could have mechanized infantry divisions with tank-like firepower.

We also need an AMOS-like 120mm mortar vehicle for divisional artillery

Bro if unmanned turret exploses , the explotion will harm all crew and vehicle. Allah korusun but there is no way to hinder all threats. İt is bloody war:(

No, if you keep the ammo stowed outside, and build the vehicle with thick dorsal armor you can survive the blast. Ground would absorb most of the G forces through tracks, as long as the armor can hold the explosion you would be fine :)

You would survive with minor injuries. I want the vehicle designed in such a way that the ammo stored inside the turret isn't enough to kill the crew if it gets hit and explodes.

Crew safety >>>>> sustained firepower

İn some tank designs ammunition was stored at the back of the turret, but it cauesed ammobox to be open and first target for enemies.
Thats why most succesful tank designs store amminition in the turret basket. İt gives double protection.
Please believe me if turret exploded , crew would be harmed.
Because of that fact in ARMATA crew are seperated and protected by titanium capsule in front of tank.
