The service life of Chinese engines is about 2000 hours, but the service life of the old generation F110 engine is more than 10,000 hours.

We used to be the best in the region 10 years ago. Now Israel got F35s and Greece is getting F35s in 2024.

We are the best in the region in terms of combat readiness and domestic ammunition. They cannot achieve possible air superiority only through dogfight. After 2028, the gap will widen even more with the further nationalization of the air force and the further development of air defense systems. No one can risk a war with us now and time is on our side.

Türkiye should go for Chinese J35 fifth gen jet. Egypt air force should of gone for
J35 instead of spending 10 billion USD on Rafale without meteor.

Muslim Countries in middle east region need a 5th gen fighter jeet to take on Israeli F35.

F-35 with %40 combat readiness is better than F-16 with %80 combat readiness in my opinion. Same with domestic ammo supplies.

You could be right about time being on our side but only if we play our hand correctly. Americans are making the sixth gen fighter NGAD while we're busy with TFX. Meaning we will stay one generation behind regardless. We need to find a partner like Japan or UK to start work on sixth gen fighters. We have to play big.

This is a politically naive suggestion.

You realize we're developing the TFX Kaan with American engines right? We're developing Hürjet with the American F404 with no alternative engine development in sight. We can't cut ties with NATO. Not even the most bone-headed islamist will suggest that.

And China didn't even sell the J-31 to their long term partner Pakistan. Why should they sell it to Turkey? a NATO country?
