Hürjet combat variant will be equipped with an F-414 engine and comparable in performance to Gripen-E. JF-17 could be an option but Chinese engine would be the issue. I don't think TAF will touch that. If Pakistan was making a %100 indigenous fighter down to the engine, that would be different.

Most likely what will happen is as I said, we weill be seeing Turkish subsystems on Pakistani planes. And we might see Anka 3 and Kızılelma in Pakistani inventory with TF-6000 Engine

We are ahead of China in engine technology. We can produce single crystals. If we wanted, we could make an engine equivalent to the old generation F110. Our goal is to produce a new generation engine. China does not have an engine at the F110 level.

The service life of Chinese engines is about 2000 hours, but the service life of the old generation F110 engine is more than 10,000 hours.

The TF6000 engine we built will have the latest generation technologies with single crystal blades. If we can make TF6000, there will be nothing stopping us from making TF35000.

I find that to be a very peculiar statement. If an airframe's performance can be determined solely by its engines, then JF-17 would 50% of a MiG-29, and Hurjet would be 50% of a super hornet.

Unless the hurjet goes through very significant redesigns, I doubt hurjet would perform anywhere close to the Gripen-E in terms of flight performance. Design wise, Hurjet makes use of a traditional layout with a relatively high aspect ratio wing, very modest wing root extension, unadjustable serrated boundary layer intake, suggesting that while the jet probably CAN reach supersonic speeds and perhaps have certain high AOA capability, it is primarily designed to operate in stable, low AOA, subsonic flight, as it should as a trainer/attacker. The fuselage is significantly shorter and thinner than the Gripen-E, while the aircraft have fairly low ground clearance with the gear down, suggesting relatively low internal fuel and no place for under-fuselage dump tanks, again, suggesting a focus on being a maintenance-friendly training instead of a combat jet. On top of that, the position of the canopy for the hurjet is fairly close to the nose, giving the pilots good visibility at the expense of space for a powerful radar with large aperture.

Given pictures of the mockup with payload, the Hurjet's combat variant should feature 2 wingtip hardpoints and 4 hardpoints under wing, with the inner-most able to accommodate dump tanks a larger A2G payloads, while the outward hard points designed for ~250lb bombs or perhaps more infrared missiles. This is quite modest compared to the Gripen-E, but suitable for a light trainer/attacker.

Iirc, the WS-20 makes use of the same core gas generator, AKA high pressure compressor, combustion chamber, and high pressure turbine assembly, as the WS-10A.
From what we know from public information, the most common service variant of the WS-10, the WS-10B in service with most J-10, J-11, and J-16 variants enjoys 5000 flight hours between overhaul, while the stopgap solution for the J-20 uses the WS-10C have 3000 flight hours due to increased high pressure turbine temp, increasing performance at the expense of some longevity.
According to the pentagon, in recent years PLAAF pilots have achieved parity with the USAF in terms of average annual flight hours, something they could've never done with AL-31s, which should be testament enough for their significant progress.

Pak / China developed K-8 Trainer in early 1990s. If you compare it with K-8 then it makes sense atleast that you are comparing aircrafts of nearly same roles and nearly same specs.

In modern era trainers / light attack aircrafts Hurjet can be compared with Chinese L-15, However L-15 is far more capable trainer / light attack then Hurjet. UAE also bought L-15s. L-15 beats Hurjet in every specification. L-15 can carry whooping 3500 KG of payload, Hurjet is far behind L-15 trainer. and when you try to compare it with likes of JF-17s and gripens then it really provides good entertainment and nothing else.

Exactly! This guy has audacity to compare a basic trainer to fighter jets and still persistent to throw up false arguements. Turkey can definitely benefit greatly from JF-17s in their inventory.
