I mean he already had that power when he was Prime minister. He just seperated legislation power and executive power into two different elections (where it was one in past), and transferred PM's powers into President's power (old executive power to new executive power).

He didn't get any "more" power by being head of SSIK. Btw he is the least person to be categorised as "Islamist", erdoğan is more like self-seeking atheist which uses religion to absorb power for his own benefit, nothing else.
