@GlobalMillitary96, @asena_great

In the soviet invasion of afghanistan you had many uzbeks and turkmens who fought in the soviet army while in afghanistan a lot of the turkmens and uzbek turks fought with the Mujahideen.

I really wonder how interactions between them was.

It's sad how they were seperated between Islamism and communism. I hope the Turkic world unites once and for all.

unfortunately Turkmenistan was the only country that did not get anything from soviet union. Ukraine and Belarus got tons of weapons and infrastructures. Kazakhstan also got some infrastructure, Armenia and Azerbaijan got decent military stuff...
i hope the best for Turkmenistan.

I use to be like this until I realised how camels played a role in Turkic history like horses and wolves.

Im not saying love Arabs. Just because people dont look at Arabs favourably does not mean we hate camels???

Who said camels are only for Arabs??? When Berbers, Somalis and various other non Arabs who used camels??

Central Asian Camel is beautiful and a tank it was basically the 4×4 of its day. They served our ancestors for centuries lets honour them.

When people laugh at us for camels. Say this due to our camels that we were able to conquer the world.

The guy is a hardcore Anti-Kemalist btw and practically a Islamist. His entire mission is to firmly attach islam to every aspect of Turkish history and culture, even when it isnt remotely true. I used to follow that guy, but seriously fvck him. Good posts from him are few and far in between. You would think with a name like Turk-ic/ish history he would remain objective and neutral in his expression and opinion of our history. You should see his Instagram stories and posts. Just a braindead circlejerk.

How is he an islamist?? When he said his a realist. His more pessimistic.

He knows what he talks about the guy literally did his research. He literally showed the books he read.

Whoever disagrees with your viewpoints is not an Islamist.

No there is a difference between disagreeing with someones viewpoint and him flatout being a toxic agenda pusher. He is a entitled dipshit who uses his platforms to push his own political narrative unto others instead of informing them, and anyone that doesnt agree can **** off according to him. I want to see Turk-ic/ish history, not his political narrative and agenda being pushed into my face nonstop. I had followed him for Years prior and have been doing so happily despite me disagreeing with him on numerous occasions, but he has become painfully unbearable and toxic. He does this CONSTANTLY, with every post he makes there is an agenda he is pushing. The guy has become a parody of himself. I read books on Turkic/ish history aswell, doesnt make me a political and societal expert.

You do realise his posts about Islamic Turkic history would piss off a lot of islamists who hold Islamic leaders regardless if they Turk or Arab as devout Muslims not realising they either did not practice their religion properly or were not even religious for start not to say they did not believe in religion. There were fair share of religious or devout ones but they even broke their rules due to them ruling an empire.

Regardless of what you think about what he posts you can either agree or disagree.

But calling him an Islamist is an outreach. The reason why people accuse him of being a Pro Islamic because he sees Islam part of Turkic history. I mean Turks have been Muslims for like 1000 years you cant really just wipe that out for good??? We did not become Muslim overnight.

Not to say all Turks became Muslim as today you have tengrist, shaman, christian, jewish and buddhism.

You have Turkic peoples that followed a particular religion for centuries like the Gaguz being christian. Regardless of what your view of religion is but christianity is relevant to the Gaguz just like how Islam is relevant to Turkish, Azerbajianis, Kazakhs and the Uygurs.

Islamists hold past Muslim rulers as devout and hold them as examples of leadership to follow.

Everybody tends to romantise history to fit to their views.
