In Azerbaijani, "Hara" is Turkish "Nere", which comes from "Harda" (Nerde), which in turn is from middle Turkic "Qanda". How does it connect to Arabic word "Har-Hara" which means "hot-fire" (according to you)?

i know arabic har is حار it means hot. hara is a kind of bag or sack and its turkish. its like hurç, really
big sack.


edit: hara would be something like حارة and that would mean line or straight.

Sounds like kinda Azeri to me, but not entirely, sounds a little more closer to Anatolian dialects then Azeri.

Which is not surprising, its an extension of Anatolian Turkish but has had extensive contact with Azerbaijani Turkish due to geographical proximity.
