Thanks for sharing this. I really enjoyed this documentary, especially regarding language.

I think I heard them saying 'meh', instead of al (almak) , as in take this, but I'm not sure. Do the Kyrgyz also use 'meh', with the same meaning. I've also heard it being used in my village.

we use both me and al. ex.: me (take this), me uşunu (take this) or me al uşunu (take this). southern kyrgyz use ma (a ince a, arapların a'sına yakın bir ses).

Yes indeed, also a funny thing is 'haçan', which means 'ne zaman', is also being used in for example the black sea region. It strongly resembles 'qaşan', which means the same in Kazakh and Kyrgyz

It's the Oghuz version of the same word. "Haçan" in Azerbaijani and Turkmen, and "qaçan" in rest (old Turkic "qaçan").

Another question for my Anadolu Türk kardeşleri.
Is the word toy still used?
Like in Kazakh: öylenu toyu, meaning wedding.
my dad, being 62 still recognizes it, but my brother in laws don't.
I live in the Netherlands, so my Turkish is okay, but not 100%.
