I don’t think so. I think Turkey has achieved indigenous development in other sectors but engine design and construction is still something Turks have not mastered yet.

I said that 100% indigenous design and production/manufacturing , of course Turkish Weapons uses foreign engines ( btw Israeli,S.Korean,Indian,Italian,etc Weapons uses foreign engines as well )

but Turkey has developed TEI PD-170/220 Turboprob Engines for UAV-UCAVs and KALE KTJ-3200 Turbojet Engine for Cruise Missiles

also TEI TS-1400 Turboshaft Engine for Helicopters will be ready in the next a few yars

900+ hp and 1500hp diesel engines for Howitzers and ALTAY Tank are under development

even France,Italy,Japan,S.Korea,India uses American Engine for Frigates/Destroyers/other Naval platforms
( Turkey has plan to develop engines up to 5.000hp for Naval Platforms )

and TRMOTOR has signed agrement to develop Turbofan Engine for TAI TFX Fighter Jet Project for 2032-2035



Nobody can develop all kind of engines in a few years , of course Turkey needs more 10-15 years to develop all kind of engines

I remind you that Turkey has started to develop big military projects after 2004 and Engines after 2014
