The Project Based Incentive System was launched in 2016 with five main objectives: reducing import dependency, leading the employment of qualified labor force, providing security of supply, realizing technological transformation and supporting innovative, R & D intensive and high value added projects.
Defense industry technologies, medical device health technologies, petrochemicals and integrated metallurgy investments have been made to support by Project Based Incentive System with 19 projects worth 40 billion liras. Even the TFX project is one of them.
Since this new support system is project-based, it is a much more efficient incentive method than the old system.
