Ground terrain profile limits the communication ranges but Since the Akinci uses national SatCom antenna via communication satellites, It is no need to receive this figure as an effective milestone. Akinci like Anka do not have any communication limitation. As long as Fuel allows, They can navigate anywhere inside the coverage area of satellites, while sending real-time data to ground centers.

Although the altitude is given as 40000ft, I believe The powerful Akinci variant to be powered with 900+hp turboprop will be able to climb up to 45-50000ft altitude. This altitude range will provide a safety corridor to drone with staying out of effective ranges of some short to medium altitude SAM missiles but Surveillance missions on enemy terrain from such a long altitude may cause trouble to EO gimbals so Akinci will require something more sophisticated than Aselsan CATS called DASS.

Akinci will receive wide area surveillance system called WAS which can provide continuous real time surveillance to an area around 20km2. WAS is developed by Esen.

Ukrainian company Ukroboronprom says: "The new-generation Akıncı unmanned aerial vehicle will become one of the first projects of a joint venture created by Ukrspetseksport, a member of Ukroboronprom, and the Turkish company Baykar Defense."

After Bayraktar TB2 purchase, Ukraine joined into Akinci strategic armed drone program with its JV institute
formed with Baykar Makine. It is said that Akinci will meet the requirements of not only Turkish but also Ukrainian Armed Forces. Announcement is made by state institute whose link is shared above.



It seems Ukrspecexport and Baykar agreed to transfer know-how of Al-450 turboprop engine to new institute. The new engine to be joint-produced and nationalised by Turkiye will be called as Al-450T. I think It will have a thrust around 750shp.

TEI-PG-50 gasoline engine has provided power of 46hp in trials. It is going to pass 50hp limits in following period.

TEI-PG-50 will power up anti-radiation kamikaze drone named as KARGI which is being developed by Vestel Savunma. During engine introduction visit, It is heart a speech like It could reach to England said by TEI CEO. That means around ~2000km air distance. First flight will be done at the end of this year.

Kargi will not only an anti-radiation but also a kamikaze drone. Electro-optic payload of Kargi called “Atmaca” will track enemy troops & vehicles to strike If It is needed. Addition to optic tracking capability, Aselsan will apply a Ku band passive seeker head to detect location of enemy radar sources. Advanced variant of this seeker (active/passive mode) is being applied to Akbaba anti-radiation missiles which will replace Harm missiles. Once A target is detected, Kargi will automatically switch on to kill mode with changing course towards tracked target where radar waves are emited. Kargi will also have swarm attack extension in software. This mode will allow a group of anti-radiation drones to fly over enemy territory in a harmony.

Turkish Drone Maker Baykar Makina Gets Government Support

The company plans to invest 600 million liras ($106 million) to increase its production of unmanned aerial vehicles, according to a presidential decree published Thursday in the nation’s official gazette. The investment will double Bayraktar TB2 drone production to 92 units per year, while adding the capacity to manufacture 24 Akinci armed drones and 36 other combat drones, according to the decree.

According to the Presidency Resolution 1504 published in the Official Gazette today, Baykar Makina will establish a new unmanned aerial vehicles and intelligent systems production facility with an investment of 600 million TL.

According to the decision, Baykar Makina will realize investment in unmanned aerial vehicles and intelligent systems production facility in Esenyurt district of Istanbul. Baykar Makina plans to create 1122 additional employment with 600 million TL of direct investment. In addition, Project-Based State Aid will be given to the investment made by Baykar Makina. According to this incentive, the company will be exempt from certain taxes. The duration of the investment is estimated to be 8 years.

The planned capacity of Baykar Makine after the new plant:

46 Bayraktar TB2,

37 systems, Communication System

55 system Avionics Package,

37 system Ground Station,

24 AKINCI,

With additional investment, The production capacity of Bayraktar will be 2(+)x. MIUS is the unmanned stealth fighter which is in development phase.

I believe at most within 10 years The Damat(Baykar Makina )will make operational flying cars in Turkey..

Aslinda diger Damat da ekonomide basarisiz degildir...Fakat Erdogan, Babacan ve Simsek'in ekonomide yaptiklari hatalarin faturasini odemek ona kaldi...Adam en sansiz donemde bakan oldu ve kabak onun basina patlafi..

Disardan TL uzerinde yapilan saldirilari bertaraf eden onlemleri hayata gecirmek eger onun kendi fikirleri ise adami yurekten tebrik ederim...
