I can't believe how absolutely stupid people here are on this forum. They seriously believe Turkiye would be defeated by Israel in war. Quite the opposite, of course Israel is a powerful force and may hold technological edge in some fields against Turkish military but Turkish military is technologically on NATO standards. In NATO Turkish Navy is the second largest and most powerful Navy, second only to the US.

Some people have suggested Israel is "battle hardened", fighting Hezbollah, Hamas, and several weak Arab states decades ago doesn't make you "battle hardened" nor does killing unarmed Palestinians.

As far as technological edge Israel may hold a limited technological edge but it's nothing that would give them a winning advantage. Turkiye not only has adequate technological capability but also holds numerical superiority and territorial advantage. Though it is important for Turkiye to develop a nuclear weapons program. In a conventional war Turkish army could within 48 hours reach Tel Aviv and whole of Israel through Syria. They could send a force of 150,000 south to Israel with heavy air support and Turkish Navy support bogging Israel down in the Mediterranean, and Turkiye would only be getting warmed up! While Israel fighting for it's life.


You people come on here with no idea, thinking Israel is going to defeat Turkiye. For God sakes you people should leave.

Well, to be honest, I really want turkey to have a try on Israel this time. Otherwise, it will always die thinking it can do so.

At the same time, I hope U.S. satellites will record everything and that will be an excellent movie to show in theater next time.

SAudi is not the only country with resources. All of EUropes gas routes pass from waters not far from turkey. Besides a country like turkey has advanced technology also. It is best and in Israel's interest to just let the Turkish Navy escort and aid ship go through international waters and not intervene nor interfere. Israel should swallow it's pride in the name of safety and life.

If Israel is smart it will keep turkey as an ally and even be its subordinate in certain matters. Military might and power is not enough to defeat an enemy. Nuclear war is out of the question. Did you forget Vietnam already? How was America at the peak of its power defeated by a small country made up of peasants. You Americans forget too easily... Giving the vietnam example does not make too much sense here.

U.S. did not lose in vietnam, just did not win outright before its domestic pressures forced it to withdraw. BTW, U.S. did not fight vietnam alone, two huge countries were behind vietnam, China and Russia. They provided all types of weaponry, training as well as personnel to help vietnam to fight U.S. then.

In the end, how many U.S. soldiers died there and how many vietnam soldiers died then???

I cannot support Turkish action . they are emerging as a big power now a days and they should keep momentum of it . if they do any thing against the Israeli bastard the western ally of this bastard can harm Turkish progress . turkey should focus at least for 10 15 years only in indigenous modern weapons industry and its economy rather then using its newly found military and economic power prematurely . for the suffering of Gaza what they can do or should is to pressure Egyptian government for opening the border more and try to send necessary goods through Egypt .
