I cannot support Turkish action . they are emerging as a big power now a days and they should keep momentum of it . if they do any thing against the Israeli bastard the western ally of this bastard can harm Turkish progress . turkey should focus at least for 10 15 years only in indigenous modern weapons industry and its economy rather then using its newly found military and economic power prematurely . for the suffering of Gaza what they can do or should is to pressure Egyptian government for opening the border more and try to send necessary goods through Egypt .

I do know about IDF and thats why I'm here on a defence forum.As I said above,Israel is just too small.No one is denying your technological advantage but in a relatively long war--there is no chance in heaven that Israel would survive the attrition.

And those who are talking about 'stone age' for Turkey don't know what they are talking about. Short of nukes, conventionally Turkey will eventually prevail because of attrition. It is a much larger country in area and population, has the capacity to take more casualties, and can destroy entire Israeli infrastructure with direct or through proxies. It is reported that Israel ran low on some kind of bombs when fought Hezbollah in 2006 and had to seek urgent supplies from the Pentagon.

Also, those who are awed by Israel should read what Waltz and Mearsheimer (spp?) say about the Israeli victories. According to them, right from 1948 Israel fought against ill-trained, ill-equipped forces. It has yet to face a real combatant like Turkey.

Afraid that they will lose the leadership of the world. The region will become more chaotic and who knows what will happen. Things will be come unpredictable and they won't like it. Think about the oil and gas pipelines. How will EURO get their energy if their supply routes are cut. Simply the world will be in chaos if it happens.
