Another thing that nobody seems to consider is the economic impact this is going to have on Turkey, there will be immense amount of foreign investments leaving the country, which are overwhelmingly from EU countries, that means you can also say goodbye to economy too, the only thing that AKP was managing half-way good recently.

lets be realistic what happens when turkey enter EU

they will force us to acknowledge the armenian genocide, maybe we will pay them

Nato and EU totally different forms of alliance, by this logic we shouldn't join European sport competitions. Anyway I voted towards breaking up with the EU. I guess with the UK leaving,there wont be a EU left in a decade or so.
We can join the new Union.
