Iran armed and fought alongside Pakistan against Russian invaders during Mujahideen war. When Hekmatyar and Massoud/Rabbani destroyed Afghanistan, we rightly helped Taliban establish order and end rhe civil war.

Pakistan took aid as payment for services in US WoT during Musharraf era. I don't agree with that policy, but that is how it happened.

What you call aid is payment for use of airbases and partnership of US with Pakistanis in WoT.
