Some have a misunderstanding about our future stance in Afghanistan. The US will never wholly leave Afghanistan, cede influence to any country, and give up the prime real estate in proximity to China. Our bases hold importance in China's backyard.

US will host the "party" but will not have the most fun in it. From your tone, i dont believe this is unfamiliar to you. US is good at setting up other countries to take advantage of US gains. It already happened in Syria and Iraq.

They are local Pakistanis and they have blended into the culture. You dont see them voting for separatist like MQM. Just look at that happend to the national party and PTM

Those pashtuns vote for ANP or are PTM/ethnic supermacist. You don't know what you are talking about. They form their own ethnic enclaves ( e.g one at sorab goth in Khi) where non-pashtuns can't enter.

I am from sindh and studied in universities where Pashtuns from Pak and Afghan were present. Both of them had toxic mentality.

Unlike Bengali and Indian muslims , Afghanistan and especially afghan pashtuns regularly attacked Pakistan since its inception in 1947. You need to read some history before praising pashtuns of Afghanistan.

All Afghan pashtuns must leave otherwise they will form their own interest groups like PTM/ANP/Achakzai types. I have personally observed the ethnic supermacist tendencies of Pashtuns.

MQM was made after muhajirs suffered from injustice by PPP which was and is composed of predominately sindhi speaking people. Initially it did a lot of good. It fought for mujahir rights and actually helped them but unfortunately the party left its root cause and went astray. Altaf in his initial years was a wonderful person but later on greed and power corrupted him.

As far as Pashtuns are concerned... They have been primary reason why MQM was formed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qasba_Aligarh_massacre . It was after this massacre that Altaf Hussain formerly announced MQM.

The fact is Afghans and few Pakistani Pashtuns(Mostly ANP thugs) have been a cause of great problems in Karachi. Most of them are illiterate , terrorist , drug sellers and rapist ( bacha bazi). I am glad MQM was formed and taught pashtuns lessons by using the same medicine ( violence) that Pashtuns understand.... After the formation of MQM , pashtuns never dared to attack Muhajirs ( no similar Qasba Aligarh Massacre) because they knew they would meet with the same violence that they inflict upon others....

Another good thing MQM did was it eliminated all the people involved in Kacha Qilla massacre https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1988_Hyderabad_massacre . Sindhis learned to never use violence against Muhajirs as well.

Had MQM not been formed, Muhajirs would have lived under the fear of Sindhis and Pashtuns...


Only if Altaf had been a loyal citizen of the country and didn't resort to illegal means..MQM would have been a dominant party in urban Sindh.

i mean that US sets the stage well aka preparing invaded countries to be taken over, but someone else comes and steals the cake. Look at Libya now. US took Gaddafi out, But Russia is primed to take advantage. US took Saddam out, but Iran filled the void. Same thing in Afghanistan- US took Taliban out(temporarily), but US isnt supporting the strongest/eventually dominant side(Taliban + other rebel groups).

You are giving credence to countries that are frankly too economically stunted to overtake the US influence. Ultimately, we are not there to have a permanent military presence in any of those countries. Even so -

• Libya, we are very close to the government a have exclusive oil deals and solid influence, including military and economic
• Iraq, same deal. We are well entrenched and influential. I believe the Iranian embassy got burned down by the Shia mobs recently. AND honestly, what is a completely broke Iran going to do - more terrorist attacks? Our military bases and presence are still there. Iran could not even help it with ISIS. We are security guarantor
• Afghanistan & the Taliban- they have to agree to us having a large embassy and have to agree to zero violence and no support of terror groups, fight elections to show legitimacy and work with the current Afghan government - and then and only then we will start relocating our troops after two years of showing us progress
