What's new

Trump in Afganistan for the first time to end war!!

The bolded part is very true.

Pakistani generally didn't have hatred towards Afghans but now it is rising and will keep on rising... Most Pakistanis are now becoming aware that Afghans are literal enemies that should be kicked out of the country and durand line sealed.

I am in full agreement with above posters that Afghans have huge superiority complex. Their way of thinking prevents any legitimate talk to happen. Hard to make peace with a country where majority of its citizens think Pakistanis are daal khor , dark skinned converts while at the same time believing Pakistani Pashtuns are Gul khans.

I understand the point of view of Pakistanis, but do you understand the point of view of Afghans?

Do you ever ask yourself why Afghans hate Pakistan but love India, or do you simply not care? I can name instances where I believe Afghanistan was in the wrong, but if I name instances where Pakistan was in the wrong then you will see the denials. But this is not a matter of who was wrong and who was right, what's passed is passed, the questions now is, are we willing to build bridges or do we want to continue burning bridges and reach the point of no return like Russia and Poland?

Right now as an Afghan I believe our main priority is kicking out America, reaching an agreement between ourselves to live in peace, and then developing the nation. We would like to have Pakistan assist us with this, or will Pakistan rather try to dominate and destroy us?

Some have a misunderstanding about our future stance in Afghanistan. The US will never wholly leave Afghanistan, cede influence to any country, and give up the prime real estate in proximity to China. Our bases hold importance in China's backyard.
US has only put the Afghan war on a " budget", but its a failure. why does a US president always sneak into Afghanistan even after 19 years of war and over $1T of expenses? tbh, i suggest you wake up and realize things arent as good as they look.

Gun violence is terrible in the US. And men who enter to shoot up mosques or Jewish temples in the US are all extremists/terrorists with racist or bigoted(religion-based) ideologies. There, unlike you, I don't make excuses to say some confused men shot randomly.
But when Muslim or black man does the shooting they are terrorists, but when white man does it he's "insane". whatever man.

they hate us from the bottom of their hearts and no we dont want them to be the citizen of our country . they "cant" live with peace .
Well they hate u for good reasons- in your regional struggle with India, you've kept their country violent and poor. Not a crazy position for an Afghan to feel imo.

It is easy to point fingers to others but it is harder to look inside. Afghanis are Afghanistan's worst enemies and only afghanis invite others to invade their country. Just look at the background of your president and you will know what I mean. He is western educated with a Christian wife that was appointed to rule Afghanistan.

Every Afghani government has not recognized Pakistan and Pakistan's sovereignty. Pakistan is the only nation that has given you guys a second home. How many millions came to Pakistan and then went out or stayed? I bet your family or someone in your family came to Canada on a Pakistani passport.

Let's see India doing that for you or better yet the Soviets or the Americans.

What is it that will satisfy you? Should we lay down and give you our homes, our livelihood? You want to come rule Pakistan or should we make Pakistan into another Afghanistan? or Should we just let you plot with our enemies and stab us in the back? What do you want from Pakistan?

Libya, we are very close to the government a have exclusive oil deals and solid influence, including military and economic
Russia via Haftar is in a dominant position over US in Libya.
Iraq, same deal. We are well entrenched and influential. I believe the Iranian embassy got burned down by the Shia mobs recently. AND honestly, what is a completely broke Iran going to do - more terrorist attacks? Our military bases and presence are still there. Iran could not even help it with ISIS. We are security guarantor
Iraq? LMAO. In anything valuable or contested in Iraq, Iran is ahead of US. US will have all the bases, and Iraqi politicians will be controlled by Iran. which position do you want to be in? US is currently an occupier btw.
Also, Russia is also the dominant middle east power broker despite only having 1 base there. thats the fact. most warring parties in ME welcome Russia more than US in helping them sort their problems. Americans are just too violent at the end of the day. America talk s democracy but doesnt know any other way but the gun when dealing with different types of world peoples.

Afghanistan & the Taliban- they have to agree to us having a large embassy and have to agree to zero violence and no support of terror groups, fight elections to show legitimacy and work with the current Afghan government - and then and only then we will start relocating our troops after two years of showing us progress
If taliban agreed to all of this then why are you still at war in Afghanistan then? Also, NO DEAL has been made yet. in the end, US will have to make painful concessions, JUST LIKE ISRAEL with Palestinians.

You sound VERY naive to be sincere with you. you're assumptions are correct, if we are in year 2010 or so. Things have changed ALOt, especially for US.

The Taliban might agree to an embassy, but if you think we are going to agree with soldiers being there, like Japan and Korea, then you are heavily mistaken. In fact, I'd be more than happy if your nation remained for another 100 years and sent another 2 million soldiers, that way we can bankrupt your nation a lot more faster.
LOL. US cant send more soldiers there even now because if US does that, there will be no soldiers to send to : China, Russia(NATO mission) or Iran(if any war happens. US doesnt even have the troops for an Iran ground conflict so this is a major hypothetical).

read history . they started it in 60's by supporting baloch . then disagreeing with durad line and doing skirmishes in that area .

Brother calm down... Don't get agitated. If I mention the pages of history in which Pakistan tried to forcefully take Jalalabad after the Soviet withdrawal, or when it signed the Geneva convention of non-interference in Afghanistan of 1988 but interfered anyway, or how it helped US and Nato to bomb Afghans, what will you say about that?

Remember no nation, is completely innocent, and no nation is completely guilty. We have done you wrong, but it's ignorant to say that you haven't done us wrong. I am also aware that you helped us, I have family in Peshawar and two of their kids are about to become doctors, and the family I have in Pakistan loves Pakistan. And you are right we did come to Canada through Pakistani Visa, but I am not hating on Pakistan.

As I said earlier, there is no point in playing the blame game, the question NOW is whether we want to continue what we have been repeating or do we want to start helping each other out?

Pakistan must do more as always.
