Republic of india is an unnatural nation state. It is essentially the last vestige of colonialism in South Asia. The upper castes are bigots and hate all non-hindus, especially Muslims, and hate all of india's neighbors. The upper castes want to collude with Anglos to buy weapons to dominate india's neighbors, especially Pakistan, and dream about giving China a bloody nose and grabbing Tibet. The lower castes are poor and miserable beyond imagination.

Consider the simple fact that india is buying ~200 Eurofighters or Rafales and paying ~$90 million for each, while bragging loudly about how its new weapons will beat both Pakistan and China, even while there are more starving people in india than all of sub-saharan Africa.
