Traditional chinese costume . We eliminate your misunderstanding of Chinese costume and hairstyle.

The enforcement of Manchu hairstyle is an attempt at forced assimilation. It is nearly impossible for a minority to assimilate an overwhelming majority, as such the overall policy was a failure, but the pigtail itself was pretty successful that required a forcible removal under the Republic. That said, the revival of Han customs and force assimilation of minority would be a long term solution to the nation's ethnic tension. Whether Hanfu would be part of that is unknown, but government should encourage such movement by utilizing Hanfu in formal occasions like the graduation ceremony instead of the out of place cap & gown.

Yeah, those cap and black robes are terrible. It's more like going to a funeral than graduating.

Excellent source @Andrei - San. Truly this is valuable information and again, don't take things too seriously. If you feel that you are being harassed by some members here, either ignore them, or if they are personally insulting you, report them. See you around, tomodachi.

He is the only one who is making personal attack here.:sarcastic:

Let us all reorient ourselves to the topic of the thread. These petty bickering has digressed from the topic, which is emphasis on the revival of Hanfu appreciation. Let's practice restraint and be the "better man" by evading personal insults, please.

Tell that to OP, as I said, he is the only one who has makes personal insults here, just because I pointed out that he fabricates the truth about the history (read those classical Chinese sourses and drawings I have posted ). Also he was mad because I pointed out that he doesn't even read classical Chinese which means I'm "more Chinese" than him~

Hello OP, you can now go tell your friends and celebrate that you have gained support from a foreigen friend, a lovely Japanese~ I would support you too if I am a Japanese -because you dare to use a japanese book with the word 支那人 at the title as a reference.:p:

Oh and lovely pictures downstairs, here have my like~

China is like the older brother of Japan and Korea, you know. We learned a lot from brother. ;)

Why are they brown? I just see traditional costumes and no ideology behind it. If girls wear dirndls here in Germany, nobody would think of Nazis.

Its not the clothing makes you a Nazi, but the people. If you have ever visited their forums you would have changed your point of view to this so-called Hanfu movement. They always tell you that they are not standing against Manchurian yet what they have been doing is to promote their "hanfu" by spreading rumors and fabricate the truth (such as "Hanfu has been dispearing for hundreds year" and "how Manchurian committed genocide to Han people during the war between qing and ming" yet many of the crimes were committed by Han people themselves)

In fact you can get some idea from those comments from op. He calls everyone who doesn't support their point of view an "anti China"~ And no matter how many classical Chinese sources I have posted to him, he just ignored them and keep calling other people stupid pig . The funniest part is, he can't read classical Chinese~ :cheesy:

All of them say that or just some of them? Anyway, I like those traditional costumes because they are beautiful.

Was there any "good " Nazi there didn't agree with their purpose and their leader. I think not. Besides, just look at op, take him as the average. Do you really think that this kind of people can be reason with.
They are indeed beautiful , yet the purpose under the clothing is ugly.

And don't compare Dirndl with "hanfu party's" hanfu. I have never ever seen anyone promote dfirndl by spreading hate and lies.

I wish I can have more time to provide more sourse to tell you the true color under those beautiful clothing, unfortunitly I only have my handy with me right now.

Did I say anything about good Nazis? You were the one who started with the Nazi stuffs, while I just wanted to see more beautiful costumes.
