What's new

TOS 1A Buratino for Iraqi Army

You see what I mean.

Someone is firing without taking time to aim, someone else is spraying his machine gun whilst walking, someone is firing his M4 with 1 hand ( half in the air ).

This is no CQB so they won't hit anyone, if it was CQB the machine gun spraying would be acceptable, but the m4 in the air not in any case

Give them to our Hevaldars for a few years and see if they still do the same thing. :D

to me it seems like most armies have regressed since WW2, like there is no tactics involved.

.
Well the way i see it its good if that helps the defending armed forces.

.
Since the ISIS is destroying shrines and imposing Islamic Law and spreading, this weapon is a means to an end.

.
Hope Iraqi army can wield and protect this weapon.

. .
should add BM-30 to go with TOS 1A

. .
has this been deployed vs the Islamic State yet ?

. . . .
Its also extremely unsafe. I remember talking to an Army officer who suggested that this particular system can go up in flames with a single RPG hit in the rocket pod.
very true for any MRLS system
secondly
looking at the dismal record of Iraqi Army.. this system will fall in the hands of ISIS or will be destroyed.

A new weapon for ISIS ??
sadly so true
Iraqi army has been a disappoitment

you pretty much summed up the Arabian weapons proficiency and combat attitude.

I disagree. For the sort of war you are facing, what you need the most is not the numbers but tactics, precision weapons, intelligence and planning, all streamlined into a long term strategy.

We trained Sri Lankans and planned their operations. Finally they built their capacity and defeated the LTTE.

If Iraqi govt asks Pakistan of something similar, we would help Iraq, regain its lost territory to these pigs.
home ground first :)

another thing to do is have an all inclusive leadership and government in Baghdad so that the Sunni dissent is not exploited by ISIS and other terror outfits.
maliki (to put it mildly) has been such a moron that he even alienated shia members of the community that didnt belong to his inner circle or closely related to his favored tribes.
