Urdu is not a language of Muslims. The Arabic the Persian themselves are not Islamic language. They persist before Islam. The Hindus and Zoroastrians in Iran developed it. Plus the arabic script derived from persian.

Urdu isn't my mother tongue .. It's our national language though and apparently we the speakers of the language know more abt it than people who Dnt .. Who don't even have any idea what words like azm e aali shan or other words..

Im only commenting here is because some people call urdu as being a dialect of hindi! I fully agree that over the years due to bollywood urdu has become more similar to hindi rather than persian. Thats all im saying!!

It was Hindustani back then, not "pure Urdu" of todays Pakistan.
