What's new

To whom does the term 'Aryan' belong?

. . .
Though its off topic but in Two Nation Theory they are being told that Hindus and Muslims are two different races and countries. May be that's why They feel that there is a race called Hindu Race.

Yes, and they are also taught that Pakistanis are aryans and Indians are dravidians. They are not even told that these are not races but two different language families.

Hence the famous Pakistani identity crisis that you see on this thread as well.

@Bang Galore yea I know, even remember it yielded nothing  look at the new 1 i found

http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v461/n7263/full/nature08365.html Nature in 2009 by an Indian....

That's the same study, only a different link. It says this too.

Supporting the view of little female ANI ancestry in India, it has been reported that mtDNA ‘haplogroup U’ splits into two deep clades44. ‘U2i’ accounts for 77%of copies in India but about 0% in Europe, and ‘U2e’ accounts for 0% of all copies in India but about 10% in Europe. The split is estimated to have occurred about 50,000 years ago, indicating low female gene flow between Europe and India since that time

8. Was there an Aryan invasion?
It is commonly believed that there was an Aryan invasion/
migration to India from the west. However, there is prolonged
debate on this topic. It has been well established that various
castes and tribal populations of India have a common late
Pleistocene maternal as well as paternal ancestry and minor
east and west Eurasian ancestriesMost of these studies
presumed that the detected west Eurasian genepool may be
the Aryan component. Interestingly, both the ANI and ASI
ancestry components of the Indian populations are found to
harbour higher haplotypic diversity than those predominant in
west Eurasia. The shared genetic affinity between the ANI
component of northern India and west Eurasia was dated prior
to the Aryan invasion suggest the rejection of the Aryan invasion hypothesis but
support an ancient demographic history of India

haha funny

The Nazi took the swastika, flipped it over and made it as their own. They took the word Aryan, paint it white, put some blond and blue on it and own it.

You guys are being taken AGAIN!

Not really true......the two nation theory was based on religious issues and not racial ones.

I don't think you need to be expert to know what Two Nation Theory is all about

Ok than correct your basic understanding, TNT has nothing to do with race and it was a Persian who gave this theory first in 11th century.

@Koovie Nice try but what you are talking about is that all living humans belong to the same species, Homo sapiens and subspecies, Homo sapiens sapiens.

We are talking about "Race" which

mhhh as a noob ex bio student, I was referring to the true biological meaning of race:

"While scientists use the concept of race to make practical distinctions among fuzzy sets of traits, the scientific community feels that the idea of race is often used by the general public[6] in a naïve[7] or simplistic way, erroneously designating wholly discrete types of individuals. Among humans, race has no cladistic significance—all people belong to the same hominid subspecies, Homo sapiens sapiens"

The Iranian mythology is not specific about where they originally came from (just that it was a cold place). The Avesta talks about various land including the Punjab. Western Iran remains unknown. Recorded history for Iran starts at 900 BCE, not before (does not mean there were no Iranians there before, just that there is no evidence for that). There is no archaeological evidence whatsoever to suggest "Aryans" came from Siberia or elsewhere. There is equally no evidence that they originated in India. Random dates don't work, the AIT requires a specific series of events happening at specific times. That has run into problems especially over a river called Sarasvati. All we have are conjectures, no evidence. a linguistic connection exists, nothing else does.

Not only it srate that it was cold it also state that it was north . And how recorded histiry if iran is for 900bce while elam date back 2700bc

By the way there is such finding

and pakistanis are obsessed with calling every indian a dravidian and finally are not ready to accept indians as aryans..

and @Spring Onion what do u have to say about indian muslims and christians etc..

Pakistani christians no offence to anybody are the low caste converts and are dravidians.... just looking at their facial structures and skin color tells u tht..

There are dravidians in Pakistan also, " Brahui people in the central Balochistan region of Pakistan" are also can be called Dravidians since they also speak Dravidian Language.

But having mixed with other races they have lost their dravidianess... they unlike south indians have sharper features and a lighter skin tone..

PressTV - Aryan settlements found in Siberia

4000-year-old Aryan city discovered in Russia - Times Of India

Ancient Aryan settlements found in Siberia | The New Order

I said no recorded evidence before 900 BCE, that stands.
As for other "evidence", those really mean nothing. How can they prove that it was "Aryan" people ?? C'mon man, you are too smart to fall for a Russian based excavation which uses words like "Aryan". I repeat that there is no archaeological evidence of any movement of any so-called "Aryan" tribes to India. Even the foremost proponents of the Aryan Invasion Theory now accept that, they are now reduced to suggesting that there was a slow migration or even more weirdly that perhaps the people who migrated to Iran & India were not the original Aryans but an Aryanised people of central asia. All this is required because there is no archaeological evidence at all for their theory, they are basing it primarily on linguistic grounds & that assertion has been challenged by almost all archaeologists.
