Sure, India is 3 trillion dollar economy and spend 60 billion USD per year just for defense where majority of defense acquisition are imported.

By seeing India is ready to provide grains to Afghanistan, it is clear India is trying to get closer to Taliban. They know that recent event between Pakistan and Afghanistan can be exploited and they can potentially keep their influence in Afghanistan like in previous government.

Recognition from India is not important from them, the ones that is important is matter regarding their current economy situation. This is where your government tried to help them in order to gain influence by giving aids and possible importing their goods.

Taliban at this time focus to get recognition from Muslim countries. Indonesia will soon open its embassy in Kabul.
