TMC slams BJP leader's 'West Bengal merger with Bangladesh' remark

It is not that the people of BD should celebrate an intentional false statement by a Union minister of India. There may be various domestic purposes for making such a statement as follows:

- To alienate Mamta Bannerjee from the mainstream Hindus in west Bengal by playing with their fear on Muslim Bangladesh so that BJP can win the state in the next election on this fear.
- To make the Hindu-Muslim differences wider there. The purpose is making the Hindus anti-Muslim and anti-Mamta, and cause them to vote for BJP.

By the way, I am not certain of a situation whereby there will be, "Ek Ghar me Do Peer". Hasina and Mamta both are Pundits and self-centered. However, I understand that the people whose forefathers migrated from BD would like to merge west Bengal with BD.

But, I must say no country can break away without the power of guns. I do not find any such instances except Singapore that broke away by negotiating with Malay under Tunku Abdur Rahman. Is west Bengal ready yet? I doubt it.

@Axomiya_lora, what are you going to do now that a breakaway west Bengal will cause your Assamese Miyas to fight and merge with Bangladesh. Is it not wiser for you guys to start loving the Miyas?
