there were certain weaknesses in indian regime at that time,if Muslims not invaded they they would be invaded by changhez khan and would have ended hindus completely from india but presence of Muslims stopped foreign invaders from eliminating this civilization

If Mongols invaded India, chances are that they would have taken out the Turkic Elite of North India,,and they themselves would have converted to Hinduism..like they converted to Islam in Persia..to Buddhism in China etc etc

The Mongols did actually invade India but were defeated by the Khaljis. Yes, Allauddin Khalji (Ranveer Singh).

hinduism has very low attraction that is why very small number of hindu nations exist

The Mongols under Genghis may well have scorched all in their path. However I'm not sure the Mongols under Genghis had any genuine interest in the subcontinent. It was only after the Mongol schism that the southern Chagatai Khanate in the mid 13th century invaded the Delhi Sultanate and showed any interest in expansion southwards. The Mongols largely struggled in the subcontinent because of terrain and climate counteracting their horse borne warfare tactics and also because the Khiljis were tactically astute and knew how to counter Mongol tactics - they utilised an intelligence network of former Chagatai servicemen and rival Mongols to predict the Chagatai tactics.

Hunas, Scythians and a huge chunk of Kushans did become Hindu...anyways LoL at Timur...the man who singlehandedly killed more Muslims than all of the CRusades combined...raped the Queen of Ottoman Sultan Bayezid...defeated 4 Muslim superpowers and never took out any Hindu,Christian or Chinese power

Changez Khan died in 1227, Timur was born in 1336.

Yeah I mean if the Mongols had made a campaign to go deep inside pre-1258 and took out the Turco elite...there was a hugh possibility that Mongols would have just adopted the religion of the Natives just like they did in other parts of Eurasia...Indian history would have been a lot different

A Mongol India, a pagan India?

He was going to attack the Mings who referred him as their subject but died before that, history may have been more interesting if he had clashed though.

The elites were largely Muslim, either it would have been a complete extinction of the existing elite with all the bureaucracy itself, but the rest of it is speculation.

Captured Mongols were recruited in Army but they revolted at occasions and thus massacred all over the Empire.

Erm. He was surrounded by Muslim powers at the time. He certainly didn't discriminate on the basis of religion, because he couldn't until he had ploughed a way through other Muslims first. He actually attacked and annihilated a number of Christian armies in the middle east. As someone mentioned, he was close to a major Chinese campaign at the time of his death. Timur actually regarded himself as the "sword of Islam".

Non-Muslim and Muslim empires alike were rightly afraid of him.

Tamarlane is possibly one of the greatest military generals of all time. He surpassed Genghis Khan.
