But we are talking about a civil war and two different countries. Not a national liberation war against a foreign oppressor who rules the same space that you live at. They have their independence. If they don't jump in, there will be no war, Taiwan will surrender with minimal loss of life.

And you need to accept reality. The US is a $23trillion economy with a net worth of $142 trillion, and that’s with 4 times less population than China. The average American is far more productive and innovative than the average Chinese.

The US is where the vast majority of the worlds science and technological advancement occurs. Another great example, today the 2021 Nobel Prize in Medicine was awarded to 2 American scientists. It’s why so many immigrate here. Because they can achieve their dreams, and earn well for themselves and their families.


The only reason China is anywhere near the US is due to its massive population. It’s trying to defeat the US with mass, but you will fail because Americans will outinnovate you every step of the way. It’s what we’ve always done, and China is no exception. China is just another name to cross off for the US on a long list of countries that tried to compete but failed miserably.

If Taiwan can do that then they deserve independence. They are justified in doing anything they can in the civil war, and so is China. The only question is, are they capable of doing so.

Likewise if enemies intervene in this civil war their physical ability to project force and continue intervention will be destroyed, one way or another. That will be their fault. They can always avoid that by not intervening.
