Time to warn Taiwan secessionists and their fomenters: war is real: Global Times editorial

No. China doesn't give a **** what Spain does. LMAO You think China would follow suit if Spain gives Catalan independence? China will never give up Taiwan, period. Over its dead body.
Spain will never give up Catalan, that is the fact. The selective EU will also never support Catalan independence move too.

But why suddenly talk about human right or freedom when comes to Taiwan? Selective, Isnt it?

.
China: "We'll fight till Taiwan surrenders"

Taiwan: "We'll fight till this island is nothing but scorched earth"

Rinse and repeat every year.

.
I think logic is out the door when it comes to US policy on China. Don't assume so much. Sanctions and coordinated political isolation will be the minimum that the US will try to enforce on China if it invades Taiwan. There is a good chance that the US would get involved militarily as well even if that means a devastating war that might end up with the US losing its position in Asia. But don't assume the US is acting logically anymore because China is very close to surpassing the US and the American deep state is desperate at this point to hold on to their empire.

China is nowhere close to surpassing the US. Not economically, militarily, or technological capability.

If US is involved in the Strait war, it will not only lose its position in Asia, but lose it in the whole world. Because US is really a paper tiger now. People are afraid of it because it looks like a tiger. When it loses a war with China, people will not be afraid of it anymore. As a result dollar will lose its credit. The whole US empire will collapse.

Matter of fact, aircraft carriers are really vulnerable in modern war.

FFS it's been 70 years years, you've gone seperate ways, you have a massive country to expand, you united with Hong Kong and Macau and saw that they don't really want to be with you,now you're pushing Taiwan in a forced unification. That's like the Kim's long-time "reunification" of Korea, but under their leadership only. If you want to push the world to war and instability that much, well go for it,but it might not go your way. FFS such things will make me dislike China in the end.

That's a definite possibility. But it won't stop the US from trying because as I said, logic is out the window.

Honestly, everything the US has done in the past 4 years to contain/attack China has eroded US power more than it has eroded China. But it hasn't stop the deep state from thinking up new schemes to attack China.

Well, Taiwan is the last Han Chinese territory that was taken during the period of humiliation, so China will never relent on its right to take the island. Secondly, having an island so close as an unsinkable aircraft carrier for US forces to harass China's wealthy eastern seaboard is not acceptable.

With that said, a tenuous peace has been held for 7 decades because all sides have kept their word on certain conditions like the One China policy. However, because the US is desperate now to disrupt China overtaking American power, it is pushing against all of these red lines in order to trigger China. That is what will cause a war. Honestly, Taiwan right now is already de facto independent so they really gain nothing by pushing against these red lines. If I were Taiwan, I would keep things as is.

It's not a matter of what they can choose. Why EU never accuse Spain of facism when they reject Catalan call for independent with 85% of Catalan supported the independence move?

Do what u preach. If EU allow catalan to gain independent from Spain. I believe China will follow. If not, stop this kind of selective policy which is nothing human right nor freedom but cheap political stance just try to bring down China.

Wrong, only 42% in catalania did vote, which means not even a quarter of the people voted for Independence.

China is a dictatorship, Taiwan a democracy. You cant force people who live in democracy to accept dictatorship. Its that easy.

Absolutely nonsense. Go ahead and sanction China , the world factory. US even fail the trade war with China. What makes u think other will fare better?

Besides US lapdog countries. Most countries like middle east, central Asia, south american, Africa and most east europe don't bother about little Taiwan being invaded by China.

Shifting goalpost? Which fake article stated 42%?

Stop being selective. Do what u preach. Let me repeat, if Catalan cannot be independent by EU , why Taiwan?

Selective self righteous hypocrite!

A step back, regret for a hundred years.

In the past, China has backed down and accepted humiliating conditions in return for peace. As a result, after a short period of peace, foreign countries once again invaded China, pillaging and slaughtering China more brutally than before.

That's why China will never accept an independent Taiwan.

Because Taiwan is ALREADY INDEPEDENT and has been a different country since the end of the Chinese Civil War.
