There are different possibilities, but I think Qalibaf (current mayor of Tehran),Salehi (current FM),maybe Khatami (if he chooses to be a candidte) and also Velayati (current advisor of Khamenei),have some chances. It's really hard to say who, maybe a relatively unknown person becomes suddenly popular among the people (Just like Ahmadinejad in 2005).It's hard to predict.Who do you think is going to be the next president?

Saudis dont understand one thing that SA is powerful because they are good for US/West, help them in all the right and wrong thing, which Iran doesn't do. otherwise, Iran has more gas than SA, too much oil reserve similar to SA, and a bigger economy and 4 times bigger population, who are more educated/credible than average Saudi nationals. the only thing is lacked in Iran is, that, they aren't still getting that type of credible arms which are usually offered to SA.
and I wish a day to come when Russia would supply as many SU35BM to Iran, as many F15s SA has. Iran would be allowed to purchase as many S400/S300 as SA is offered, similar number of other high end side arms like T90 tanks etc. and the way we find now Team NATO, including arab countries, involved in organising terrorism in other countries like in Syria currently, a day is not far away when Iran will be supplied with the best arms of Russia to have a credible resistance to all these terrorism organising NATO countries and their arab friends............
The day will when Iran will develop all of that by itself.
The anticipated deal, first reported by Kommersant, sees the two sides “practically agreed on the delivery of 48 Su-35 multirole fighters, worth $4 billion, to China.” Some reports suggest that Chinese officials have dismissed talk of such a deal. But if true, an agreement like this would certainly make sense for Beijing, giving China access to an advanced fighter. The Su-35 or “NATO Flanker-E +” is described as a “4++ generation (fighter) using fifth-generation technology.” The fighter is “armed with 30-millimeter cannons and has 12 points of suspension for suspension of arms, including missiles and bombs.”

The last one who tried another Qadisiyyah was this guy:another Qādisiyyah will let go of this rivalry.
we hope but it may be little long, while I wish for a package of 48 like as below for Iran also, with over 12 regiments of S300/400. and as Iran already has a credible/powerful defence infrastructure, it will then make a credible power balance in ME, Iran Vs Rest
The last one who tried another Qadisiyyah was this guy:
You should remeber how U.S soldiers pulled him out from a rat hole like a ****.
This time you try another Qadisiyyah and ... Booom.
Do u really think if Iran becomes what all u say with all those weapons Iran will use it just to protect itself?
Iran first has to came with open heart and get its Neighbours into confidence and assure them this weapon build up is not against them.
Iran is great nation not because of its history but because of its people.
and Iran should protect this asset and guide them to the new bigger world.
Now is a testing period for Middle east (Egypt, S.A, Iran)
Also count the tourism factor on Turkish economy. Besides that, both countries have a great potential as is stated here:

look, there is only two countries in that region who may have technologies by themselves, one is Turkey and second Iran. but I would like to put Iran on higher status than Turkey when we compare defense arms. and here you are 'correct' that Iran is already a big challenge on its own, and if they may get full support, apart with their own capabilities, then Iran would simply put rest of ME on their foot . as, does anyone else of that region has courage to go againt NATO for nuclear techs, even Turkey type NATO's ally? NO, even if Pakistan could get it then it was because it had back-door support from US/UK against India, the SU's ally, with desperateness of China to balance India with Pakistan in 80s, for what China also find them on a mistake right now. as, just go to a western country, a Chinese origin is found very happy while being with a high qualified Indian doing a white collar job and has a very liberal cultural background also. but about Pakistan, Chinese also use them as an arm only. like how Russian have good relationship with Italian/German but they had war with them in past also.........
and look, Iran always declared that they are happy to have non-nuclear state if rest of the world is also ready to do so. until US/West has nuclear weapons who are a threat to Iran, with nuclear holding of Israel also, Iran needs this weapon, even if they only have nuclear techs till now. and..... the biggest challenge to West will emerge from Pakistan, not from Iran
