WS-10B is now a mature engine that has been flying for over a decade on lots of different Chinese jets like J-11 and J-15. Chinese are now so confident they are mass producing them for the single engine J-10C.

BD is negotiating with USA for F-16 and so Gripen and Typhoon are out of the question. This has been confirmed by both governments. BAF leadership may be dumb but not so dumb that they cannot propose a decent and fit for purpose fighter plane to procure.

F-16 cannot fight Rafale with Meteor but F-16CE can. If China willing to sell, BD needs to buy asap.

Will cause problems as USA will not like it being used against India. Look at the problems that Pakistan had when India alleged F-16 use against them last year.

Nope Rafale has less RCS and will dominate F-16 in high altitude engagements due to canard delta and higher thrust engines. At medium altitude F-16 will be ok.

You can combat Rafale with F-16 BLK 70/72. Only thing that will make a difference is that how you deploy your assets and force multipliers like SOJs & AWACS.

Kind of but Rafale has high altitude energy advantage due to canard delta and higher thrust engines. This will give it first shot advantage and better chance of dodging missiles fired at it.
Still would prefer to be in a J-10C when facing Rafale.

Honestly Bangladesh will be depending on goodwill of India. The Geography suggests Bangladesh needs better Navy than anything else but against nuclear India still doesn't stand a chance. This is the reason Pakistan developed nuclear weapons against all odds. To retain that will to stand upto A bully.

Importantly leadership in Dhaka need to threat asses for next thirty years. Defence must never be dependent on goodwill of neighbour untill you live in Scandinavia. They need to realistically re evaluate the Haseena's tilt towards India as against national security.

Bangladesh must not let its history with Pakistan dictate its character. It should not be defined as hostile nation to Pakistan and thus close to India. It should define itself as representing Muslim Bengalis of Subcontinent and act to defend this rather than behave as a satellite state.

In my opinion the only barrier to J-10CE is BD willingness to pay. Government will have to prioritise some funds over infrastructure and/or social projects.
I hope the leadership realises how urgent this is in the face of the rising Hinduvta threat.
Better to have the ability to inflict a bloody nose on India, even if BD loses in the end, than to be a total walkover. The possibility of a bloody nose may be enough to make India back down.

what problem are you talking about sir ? paf openly used and honored f-16 against India . its just Indian media creating all this scrap from their read .506 AMRAAMS JHMS AIM9 sniper pods and 85 f-16 were purchased for show off ?

No my friend as we need high performance fighters to deter India.
BD is negotiating with US for F-16s to take care of Myanmar.
Only J-10CE can take on Indian Rafale.
BD has money now as defence budget is 5 billion dollars a year now when you include arms imports. Economy is quite large and growing good as well.

What you guys need are 36 (+12 in future) J-10CE along with 2 KG-500 (+1 for standby) and some 50 well armed to tooth light weight fighters on par with Thunder Block 3/Gripen E and a tanker (although not an immediate requirement but a really useful asset)

Apart from that, what you guys should really have is a very strong navy with atleast 3 complete battle groups.

If only you guys had some respected leaders in government unlike haseena, Thunders would have been best bargain for Bangladesh !!!
