What a load of bull. No tafsirs state that ''the earlier peaceful verses were abrogated by violent ones'', only that fighting was made permitted at a certain point in time and even then clear limitations were placed.
''Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors.'' [Quran 2:190]
Any hadiths that advocate fighting non-believers just because they are non believers are in contradiction to the Quran and thus invalid.

The point of this little joke becomes worthless when it's riddled with so much BS.

A fatwa is a scholar's opinion. Fox news does have religious people 'issuing' their opinions. Fatwa or not, their and the other hosts' logic and styles are very similar, so my comparison is valid.
