I have thought about it and people have been thinking about it for decades. It still means generals like Bajwa have committed treason punishable by death and also deceived the nation. To answer your question about the Police doing at my house what they did at Imran Khan's house, I being a Karachiitte would either have been shot dead by some LEA or would have been booked and sentenced by the Court if I had done 10% of what Imran Khan has done. Matter of fact, even Altaf Hussain at the prime of his power would have been shot dead. But all that is most likely because of the domicile.
Coming back to rule of law, there is no point in arguing. Non bailable arrest warrants were issued for an absconder and any other accused would have been arrested but Imran Khan being Imran Khan, ensured that he had hundreds/thousands of his supporters taking law in their own hands, setting police vans on fire, throwing petrol bombs at police along with other dangerous projectiles etc. Was that all legal?
Ever stop to think what could possibly have turned Bajwa against Imran? I mean, after all Imran has himself admitted that he was merely a pawn and that Bajwa was calling the shots. So what happened really? Just think about it for a moment, I mean Imran Khan has also accepted that he was even willing to give Bajwa an indefinite extension.....so what really happened which was so severe that the establishment decided to sever ties with Imran Khan after putting all that massive effort of manpower and years of hard work to ensure Imran Khan comes to power; what could have happened which was so horrific for the country that the Military had to decide that Imran Khan was 'dangerous' for the country? Think about it for a moment.
IK, by accepting generals hegemony which was established way before he came to power does not even make him a criminal in any court neither did he deceive people. Whether he did enough to put chaprasi generals in their place or not is a matter for people to judge him on in elections and not anyone else including courts.
