agreed but it is impossible to keep the forces all time at war footing. i am sure there will be jets on caps and ada but sending 9 front line fighters which is about 60-70 % of a squadron to an air show and exercise means that the tension is low now.

Yes india will like to see Pakistan exhaust itself through expenditure of man material resulting from continuous outlook
So a right balance is required
Sending 9 jets doesn't mean threat is low
There might be other contingencies in place
To cover for that gap of 9 jets

I see you have edited your post to highlight C-130 passenger flights. That may very well be the case.
