Well, we know Pakistanis hate Bangladesh and Bangladeshis. But, cant Pakistanis show some humanity and grant citizenship for those Bengalis who wants to stay there? Or at least grant citizenship for Bengalis born in Pakistan!
No we dont hate Bengali or Bangladesh, neither we love them. Bangladesh is just another Muslim majority country for us.
What happened in 1971 is long gone history to us and we dont care about that anymore.

About giving Nationality to Illegal Bengalis and Rohingya. It has more to do with Vote banks of politicians in Karachi. tHERE ARE LITERA;Y hUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF THEM. mAY BE MILLIONS. iF THEY GET NATIONALITY THEY DONT HAVE ANY ETHNIC LOYALTY TOWARDS ANY POLITICAINS AND MAY VOTE ON OTHER MERITS AND THATS WHERE PLITICIANS GET UPSET

No one hate Bangladeshis. Even after 1971 thousands came and found jobs. But expecting them to give nationality is asking for to much. Thank god for Chuadhry Nisar Ali. Other day I was reading about Philippine maid in Islamabad, even they used to get CNIC for few thousand rupees. Now after crack down Nadra is cancelling all forged CNIC. If Pakistan started giving nationality to people born to illegal parents then it will open pandora box. Bangladesh is doing well now but Afghanistan situation will not improve even 100 years from now and we have border with them. Population is already well over 200 million.

But I doubt about 3 million illegal Bengalis in Karachi, in reality it's much less. We will find out after census results are given.

Giving nationality is out of question. Political tension in Pakistan always has been over quota, parliament seats, resources etc Last thing Pakistan need is to give millions of illegal bengalis and afghanis nationality.

Musharraf was giving them Nationality on humanitarian grounds as they don't have anywhere else to go and not having nationality deprives them of finding employment abroad and many rights in Pakistan.
Afghans are separate story. They can go to Afghanistan anytime, which is righ next doors.

Maybe but 2-3m figure is given by Bengali association in Karachi that's why I doubt. Census will clear all doubts.

Now Nadra ask them to provide proof of being in Pakistan before 1971.

Before the false-flagging troll completely drowns this thread with his dozens of accounts and starts talking to himself again (he's already begun), I just want to reiterate that no one in Pakistan thinks or cares about Bangladesh or the people that live there. Some uneducated, lower-income Pakistanis don't even know that the country exists. Nor are most of them sympathetic to the 1-3 million illegal immigrants that come from that namak-haraam country (after 1971).

Though some do have sympathy for the Rohingya refugees who have been unfairly stripped of their citizenship and have been oppressed in Myanmar. They have nowhere to call home. Even though they make more sense in India and Bangladesh, not Pakistan. There are also a few left that have a little bit of sympathy for Afghans fleeing the civil war going on their war-torn country, though even that is dissipating fast and many have been deported.

Those who were here before 1971 never had their nationality cancelled. My English teacher was a Bengali . I am on about 1982 in a small town of KPK. Everybody in the town knew him as Bengali but he and his family never had problem and still there.

I know, Balochistan economic minster name is Kaisar Bengali. There are likely many others in important position who have generic names. Only those who came well after 1971 are having trouble getting CNIC renewed after crack down.

yes, the crack down.
Again politicians should realize that unlike Afghanis these are harmless people who have nowhere to go.
But then again every country has the sovereign right to give or not to give nationality to foreigners.

India already hosts a big burden of BD illegals. Thus Rohingya really should be diverted to BD. BD people bragging about their economy all the time, so I fail to see the issue.

Completely agree with you, Pakistan really has its own problems (economic and otherwise) to be taking on this flood of refugees from BD. India border areas at least have common culture and previously largely integrated economy/logistics, so we can sponge some of them in (and probably there will be an amnesty after the current issues are finished being sorted out).....but Pakistan does not have a border with BD (and rohingya areas) even (in contrast to say Afghanistan)....so really Pakistan does not need this burden. If its an ummah issue, the richer ummah countries should be the ones prioritising this hosting stuff.

More then anything it has to do with quota, resources, votes etc This is why giving nationality isn't a option.

Look man, because of our nature we Bangladeshis are hated by other peoples of South Asia. We can sense that. And like Chinese we dont care about it.

My point is, peoples who wants to be with Pakistan should be given a chance by Pakistan. Thats all...
