No much, the places like Bangli Para in different parts of Karachi are place where most of the electricity is be stolen by Kunda .. than many of the young Bangli's are getting into snatching and robbery .. my first cell phone was snatched by 3 Bangli boys when i was in 2nd year

So, Pakistan abandoned it's citizen after the war.Plain and simple.There was no edict like Portugal which given opportunity of Portuguese citizen in Goa to relocate in mainland.NADRA was founded only in 2000 AD.It was non existent to the period after 1971 up to 2000.

Can you elaborate this statement? It is vague.What do you mean by 'with us' and 'foreigners from Bangladesh'?Is it means people of east Pakistan was foreigners before 1971 and only west Pakistani were citizen?

They are rajakar and their descendant getting true test of their Pakistan.I doubt any genuine Bangladeshi have gone that place to live.Before 1971, half a million Bengali lived in then West Pakistan, most of them repatriated after 1974.Some remained and latter joined by pro pak Bihari and Bengali who could not digest the liberation of Bangladesh.Patriotic Bangladeshi didn't stay there.Even Runa Laila came back in Bangladesh in 1974, leaving behind her popular singing career opportunity there.So did Shabnam.

Yeah right. There were hundreds of thousands of @Genuine Bengalis@ living and working in West Pakistan before Sheikh Mukeeb's India funded Bloody violence. These are the decedents of those people who chose to stay as they had no problems in Pakistan. Also Hundreds of Thousands of Bengalis came to Pakistan after 1971 in search of better jobs and better living conditiosn from the "Shoondar Bunn" they were living in. Such as the Epic Bangla Starvation period between 1971 aND 1974 when Millions Died, and the Effected people of Bhola Cyclone of November 1970 who saw Mujeeb as their saviour who failed to deliver anything. /Also waves of political refugees came during many Bangla Political turmoils.
Then the Fishermen mentioned in this article are all Rohingya from Bangladesh and we all know whats happening to Rohingya in Bangladesh and Burma.

About Nationality. Those who stayed after 1971 and were already residents had their nationality intact and was not cancelled. The ones in Limbo are later migrants and the Rihingya .
