You need better airports anyways to accomadate the 1 million ppl who are running out of India every year anyways

1) India has 3 operational metro sevices (kolkata , delhi, mumbai), bangalore (partial),under construction in chennai,jaipur,amehdabad,kochi,hyderabad and extension work is going on for those three operational services.
pakistan doesn't have any metro sevuce nor any work is going on
2) pakistani railways virtually bankrupt,indian railways one of world's largest (1/3rd of 64000 km IR elctrified,while not even 1 km of 10-15k of PR has electrification)
3) national highways,expressways,state-built roads etc make up a number,few times larger than pakistan
4) 3-4 indian universities in "top-400" while no university of pakistan made it to that list
5) installed electricity generation capacity of india few times more than pakistan


now you can alwys live under this delusion that pakistan is better than india infrastructurally

To be honest prince they did have better infrastructure than India till about a decade back.

Since the last decade, India has put in a lot of effort in new infra that Pakistan has not. So now we have equal or better infra than Pakistan in every area bar one - they still have better highways.

Thats simply because having great highways across a country the size of India is a really long term job, and we started only in 2000. Pakistani rulers invested in great highways a lot of decades ahead of us! So while we have a few highways that exceed their highways, those are exceptions.

Given another decade, we will far exceed Pakistan on that front as well.

Ok, now we need serious reforms in manufacturing sectors. Having poverty in society is not bad, but having poor jobless people is a grave threat to societal balance. And service sector and agriculture based industry can't sustain the demands of a huge pool of skilled or semi-skilled population's requirement for jobs. It has to be manufacturing.

We should concentrate on light manufacturing and automobile production, I think.

We are already 6th biggest automobile producer in world and many automobile giants are setting their plants in India.

If we undertake right policies, Automobile sector can generate large no. of jobs.

Plus its supporting sectors will also get boom due this and will create more jobs.
