The Saudi Conflict

Protest in Saudi Arabia are happen in a small village of Qatif which has no political significance..the recent 23-24 protesters who turned themselves in to the authorities turned out to be Sunni's with criminal background and most likely financially motivated and nothing to do with Shia!

Soo much for the protest!

Saudi students condemn assult on female students in Abha
The demonstration was held at King Khalid University in Abha on Sunday and protesters condemned the act of security personnel of the university.

On March 7, Saudi activists said a group of female students from King Khalid University were beaten by security personnel during a demonstration held to express anger about discrimination and mistreatment.

People of Abha also condemned the beating during a demonstration on Saturday.

Reports say the Saudi university has blamed female students for shouting in a way that contradicted campus regulations and thus led to the clash.

The protest against discrimination and mistreatment at King Khalid University in Abha was organized at a time when Saudi protesters have been holding demonstrations on an almost regular basis in the oil-rich Eastern Province, mainly in the Qatif region and the town of Awamiyah, calling for the release of all political prisoners, freedom of expression and assembly, and an end to widespread discrimination.

Demonstrations in Eastern Province began in February 2011 and they turned into protest rallies against the Al Saud regime, especially since November 2011, when Saudi security forces killed five protesters and injured many others in Eastern Province.

its either ur stupid or hanndicap pakistan was sanctioned you know what dose that term means >> the only country helped was saudi arabia money and aids > we use to buy things from other countries and give them to pakistan because you were unable to get ur needs due to the sanctions> did u get it or not > and my point here isn't about money is about help and by whom by the alsaud family who u hate > please don't talk about money beacues we the saudis the last thing we care about is money. its sounds to me like ur a teenage u don't even know ur history period

sanctioned by whom?

this is funny post while I admit we have good relationship but I fault the idea that there are anything, if any, that we could not obtain yet you could otherwise. We have the source either from the west, or from the east.

just because your scoup a oil hole deep in the culf does not mean your can speak like a overlord, if we are not considering how a daisy licker to the evil west, sticking the faking flag of Arabian league nations, to sanction any pagan that does not suit your embarrassment.

I'd like to know how your country fellows responding to the US invaders burning of Koran, or Killing innocent Afghanistan children, or pissing over their dead bodies, life of whom also pray each day at the direction or your nation.Period.

Hope we can be united at all level and revenge some day.

Saudi conflict!!!?:cheesy:
What conflict? What I know is all international media agencies are free to move in KSA and cover everything, and all I know that there are few demonstrations there and there in Eastern province with no death toll. About five people carried machine guns and shot on police but police haven't ever shot on them back. Unlike Syrian regime who is shelling children and women with artillery and tanks::azn:

once again the demonstration was agents the school system stupid not the saudi regime. second, the the shia demonstrator in Qatif is to support the Shia in bahrain using commandment form out of the country and they are small minority so 1% out of 99% of the population for non reason < firing guns ,burning tires, closing streets what do you expect from the security forces is to watch or to remain silent and let them do as the did in Bahrain agents the bahraini security forces of course not they will fukem up.those shia should be put to death or deported to iran >we don't allow people who are disturbing peace in the country > if they got any issues there are open doors for that. there are shia representatives the Shura house.

again and again don't bring fake videos and post them as if they were demonstration agents saudi regime.

So its ok for Saudi to bring back peace, but its not ok for Syria to bring back peace?

Lool, its like you are comparing between Wallstreet demonstrations in New York where tens of them were detained for few hours and demonstrations in Syria where they have been being slaughtered for 1 year and the death toll among civilians exceeds 10 thousands, noting that UN stopped counting deaths because they are too many. Why don't Bashar step aside and make transparent elections to rescue Syria from a catastrophe?

If he steps aside, i will hold gun, and my family will, and my people will, THAT MEANS CIVIL WAR. as long as he is in power i wont hold a gun.

Saudis to go on hunger strike to protest rights activist detention

ostovar20120221084037880.jpg

Saudi activists are planning to stage a hunger strike in the capital, Riyadh, to protest against the detention of prominent rights activist Mohammad Al Bajadi.

The hunger strike organized by the Saudi Civil and Political Rights Association (ACPRA), also aims to express solidarity with political prisoners and demanding their immediate release.

"We hope to shed light on Mohammad al-Bajadi's case and others like him because unfortunately the state does not listen to the people, so we want to alert the international community to put pressure" on it, activist Mohammad al-Qah'tani told Reuters on Monday.

According to ACPRA, so far, more than 38 activists have signed up on its website to participate in the two-day hunger strike by the end of this week.

Al-Bajadi, ACPRA leacer, was detained in March 2011 for supporting families gathering outside the interior ministry in Riyadh to demand the release of detained relatives. His trial, on charges including tarnishing the reputation of the state, has been suspended as he refused to recognize the court.

Activists say there are more than 30,000 political prisoners held in jails across Saudi Arabia, who, the Saudi-based Human Rights First Society says, are being subjected to both physical and mental torture.

According to rights activists, most of the detainees are being held without trial or legitimate charges and have been arrested on grounds of mere suspicion.

Saudi-backed Bahraini forces injure protesters in villages

Several Bahraini anti-government demonstrators have been injured in clashes with Saudi-backed regime forces in a number of villages across Bahrain, Press TV reports.

The clashes broke out during the demonstrations calling for the downfall of the ruling Al Khalifa regime in several villages on Sunday.

The protesters also demanded the immediate release of prominent human rights activist Abdulhadi al-Khawaja, who was given a life sentence in June last year.

According to the Bahrain Center for Human Rights, Khawaja has gone on a hunger strike and his health condition has been deteriorating over the past days.

Meanwhile, Manama regime forces arrested several protesters on Sunday. The Saudi-backed forces continue their violent crackdown on peaceful demonstrations across the country.

On Saturday, regime forces killed a 21-year-old protester who was trying to get to the Pearl Square in Manama with a group of other demonstrators.

Bahrainis hold King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa responsible for the death of protesters during the popular uprising in the country that began in February 2011

Ahab and Ara'ar?? do you even know where it is located on the map????

Ara'ar is a small highway town which does not span more than a small intersection of M85 with M80. It is in close proximity to Iraqi border and heavily dominated by Sunni tribes of Iraqi origin who staunchly oppose Iranian interference in Iraq, in fact soo much that the Saudi government had to install electric fences to stop Saudi youth from being motivated to take arms in Iraq.

Ahab, cant find a single region by that name perhaps you can shed some light Mr Syrian Clown!

Your information is like your media, very entertaining and little reality. I honestly appreciate the Syrian media for its sense of humor and you continue to set the fine example.

Qatif protests and the world is silent, and saudi is teaching democracy to others and demanding to arm the oppositions in different country, does that mean the opposition in saudi and Bahrain should also be armed?
