This has little to do with Madaris, but more to do with the ENSLAVED. Who is telling you to live in our country? Most on here, are not in Pakistan. So stay there where you're humiliated and have NO self-resoect like the Sister on the plane incident!
We are Muslim and PROUD of it! Pakistan ZINDABAD!
Ahem! You have gone too far. We live abroad and are well respected and well treated.
I have never felt discriminated against. I felt discrimination and humiliation all the time in Pakistan. I was discriminated for my color, my ethnic background, my class and the area of the city I lived. I did not know what it was. But it was discrimination.
As for humiliation, try going to some govt office or a police station without resources or contacts. To commute there if you dont have your own car is utter humiliation. There is no decent public transport to talk of.
We live in Pakistan and we dont even know the meanings of discrimination and humiliation. Because we live there in a system of discrimination and humiliation. We are taught to live with it.
As for the woman who was mistreated at the airport. True there is Islamophobia. The govt here does try to address it. There will be recourse for her and there will be something done for her.
Tell me the truth. Islamophobia coming from non Muslim is worse or sectarian hatred we are slowly being poisoned with from fellow Muslim? Look inward forst before pointing fingers at others. Muslim definitely need to introspect. We are far behind the developed and emerging word. We need to realize and understand why? After all, its not all conspiracy.
