That maybe true but the religiosity is decreasing contrary to your statement. And the ghettoization can't stop without significant insurance by the state for at least 50 years - few wants to risk their lives and businesses.Sadly, to a great extent, the Indian Muslims are oppressing and ghettoizing themselves.
The thing to be said here is that - Social Mobility is decreasing generation by generation. Muslim community is excluded from the system which can be blamed both on the regressive organisations like All India Muslim Personal Law Board and the government itself.
@jamahir Have you talked to some Muslims who refuse to be a part of the "system" and heard their logic?
The general perception here in the North is that the system is designed to exclude Muslims, so attempts are futile. Of course, some it is utter rubbish but some of it have post-1947 historical origins.
