That's right. India is a country at war with more than half its population. The hi fi weaponry she is getting have their codes with the Americans. The moment there is a Sino-India flare up India will disintegrate into natural geopolitical units that the peoples have always desired. China will hardly have to fight. Nukes will be unnecessary against a country likely to fall like a house of cards.

But what did the Indian Naval Chief have to say?

He said that India could not hope to match China in terms of military force.

even pakistanis can figure out why he said that, and you cannot? i guess you need to live in a democracy to figure out that the military must "scare" the civilians into giving them funds. and fortunately for the indian military brass, the civilian government does not know squat about the military.

Anybody who is aware of the basics of warfare can compare the indian navy, an experienced force with modern warships and supersonic cruise missiles in every one of them, with the PLAN who have a lot of less modern ships with no war experiance.

I will however acknowledge the PLAN's formidable submarine fleet.

I have sailed on Chinese manned ships...I know how things are run there .. in fact Chinese navigators are reputed to be the worst sailors in the martime industry ..some of them can not even distinguish port from starboard...so its better you do not bring comments by some snooty American sailor.

I find it funny that the Taiwanese Air Force is on par with Indian Air Force. Imagine that, a tiny island of Taiwan has equal power to all of India. Taiwan's GDP is also 1/3 that of India, imagine, a tiny island being 1/3 of all of India.

no it is not. The PLAAF is superior in every way imaginable. 140 F-16s and 120 Mirage 2000's with 4 light AWACs vs. 200+ J-10s, 114 Su-30s, 96 Su-27s, 110 J-11s, 300+ J-8II and 5 heavy AWACs.

However, Taiwanese Air Force can easily down all of India's obsolete Migs.

Owning a shipping Company does not make you better at sea..reputation of Chinese sailors and Chinese fishing boats is an industry wide renowned phenomenon.

1) Most Chinese sailors can not speak any English.

2) Most of them are completely unfamiliar with ROR(Collision avoidance regulations)..keep on breaking the rules

3) VHF communication with Chinese is a nightmare.

4) And on long shot , you do manage to convey your intentions ..you can not trust the Chinese sailor..as most of the time..they will do opposite of what they say.
